At first, I thought, "Could be a good option for a couple hundred bucks." Then I saw the $1300+ price, and I literally laughed out loud.
Same lol
Why even. Would be great if it was a fe hundred. Over a grand is insane.
Unsolicited Pro Tips. 1. Youre gonna wanna coat those bolts with some rust preventative, cause theyre gonna leak. 2. Youre gonna want to use some seal flex or latex caulk where the head of the bolt sits on top of the panel, cause its gonna leak. Yes, Ive had one, still do, love it. Aside from the leaks.
Subscribed! Thanks for the great videos as always, Rob!
Great Product...different
great looking recovery boards
these are kewl, i think this is my next upgrade
Cool concept !
Looks nice!
Great option for the 8 months of winter we have in Northern New England!
Love the idea
Nice give away item! The top is pretty cool too.
i need one of those for the winter time.
Commenting for the giveaway! Thank you guys
Nice top
Would love those recovery boards!
Cool idea. Not my thing, but quite cool. In sunny SWFL, you’d be roasting daily if you had one of these.
But, I’d love them recovery boards, J!
Nice!
nice
Let's go!!!
Can use them sand latter's for the next beach run. By the way Sweet sunroof!
Great idea for more temperate climates. Out in So Cal and AZ, you need more heat protection. Good idea though
Love to have one of these!!!
Send me one to try out
Not sure if i would rather have this or the mini soft top that replaces the freedom panels for simular cost...
Bestop Sunrider? Yes, I have that one, works absolutely fantastic and opens and shuts in seconds right from the drivers' seat.
This would be an amazing addition to my 2016 Jeep Wrangler for camping nights and morning drives 🏕️
I wanna win those boards!
Nice, I would love this for my 2010 Wrangler and test it out in Sunny Southern Arizona.
I have a 2010 also. Did you ever purchase one? If so how did it fit?
How can I buy it here in Brazil? I can be an importer and distributor here in Brazil.
Would love to win one of those
Turn your 65k Jeep into a garden shed!!
How hot will it get with the sun beating down on you?
Could use a recovery board 🥲
How long before it is no longer clear and looking like crap? Plastic scratches. Also kind of expensive.
1200.00 is a bit much for that.
Love the look though.
I was actually going to get it but then i saw the price and laughed out loud.
It should be flat on top. The bar shapes ruin the view and are distracting
Looks like a great idea but that floppiness tells me it's made from very flimsy plastic. $1200 bucks for a heat/vacuum formed sheet of acrylic with a few bolts and clamps is TOTAL BS. I'm an industrial designer. I know how much it costs to make things. A 4' x 8' sheet of acrylic is about $90 - $140. That is 1/4 of a sheet. Value $40. Bolts = $5. Clamps = $20. Labor Time to manufacture = 10 minutes. Cost to heat plastic = $5. So... about a $100 to manufacture.
I agree the price is out of hand.
Some costs not accounted for.
How much to have the form made, man hours to design and test variations of material thickness for quality. Torque specs for assembly, writing the training manual, training those employees, hourly labor rate to pay them to assemble in USA...
Or buying new automated assembly machine / buing robot arm new or re-programming for assembly of this model.
This sort of over pricing seems in line with many Jeep accessories and their crazy buyers.
ya but nobody else is making it so you can charge whatever you want
@@photovinope. Clearlidz make them too.
This is plastic injection molding..........to charge this much money is ridiculous. They could have sold out if they made it affordable..., someone else will.
Would love to win some free stuff!
The price is out of control. It should cost less than half what it does.
$1347.00....🤐🤐🤐
LOL! Just "$1300"
$1400?????? jeez
Yeah, think the sunrider is the way to go. For the price this seems way too cheaply made. If they put a little quality into it, it could have been 2 panels and no bolts to take it off. Since it's so flimsy it needs to be bolted down. Shame, cool idea
Things are so outrageously expensive, for a piece of plastic
It costs as much as the factory hard top! Clown shoes
So for $1350 I can look through plastic, rather than just remove my freedom panel...Pass
Mejor hablar en español.. 😮😮😅
Quick to remove, with 4 bolts added to the mix. Great idea. Poorly executed.
Cheaply made crap for crazy amount of money! Good idea, bad design.
Jeeps are the potato heads of cars, change them as you see fit
