Hi Cindy - Ink Sinker is the name of our white alcohol ink. It's called that because it's heavier than alcohol ink colors so it can push the color down into the resin to make the really cool squiggles and tendrils that "petri dish art" is known for. Not all white inks can do this - it needs to be made with pigment, which is heavier than the dye normally used to make alcohol inks. Here's the link to ours: www.artresin.com/products/ink-sinker Hope that helps!
How beautiful they are! I really like the wooden pieces. Thank you! Question….on e you drop in the white sinker, I assume you leave it alone and not swirl it around? I have not had good luck with using the sinker…user error, I am sure. 😀 Thank you again!
You do not need a really heavy grit, just something to smooth out the edges in this case. Michelle even recommends using a nail file with different grit levels from course right down to buffing, the nail file makes it easy to work around all of the small areas.
ArtResin is non toxic and does not produce harmful fumes or VOCs, if you are working in an open area a respirator is not required! Have a look at our blog that explains how to work safely: www.artresin.com/blogs/artresin/what-safety-precautions-should-i-take-when-using-artresin?_pos=10&_sid=d731a7a80&_ss=r
Everything turned out really beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful 😍

Hi Kathy, generally you do not stir in InkSinker, you layer it on top of another alcohol ink colour to pull the other colour down into the resin.
For wooden shaing
What grit of sandpaper do you use?

Why are you not wearing a mask?
