Thanks, I lost my hearing at age 4 due to gentomycin which saved my life. I am finally trying different aids, since my brain is so accustomed to being in lack, and now I’m always very startled. I have two pairs, Sensei pro (for youth but because I stopped wearing at age 13, works) and Oticon synergy. Both work in different situations. I just wish I didn’t have such feedback when people hugged me. :(
very Insightful Dr Arora Sir .For employment purpose after audiology test i got 30dbhl Mild conducting hearing loss right ear and 42dbhl Moderate conducting hearing loss left ear and the test was taken when i had mild cold since whenever i got cold my ears will be blocked. After consulting ENT Specialist sir the same day advice me to opt for Surgery .but i am scared of surgery is there any others means of treatment i.e medicines or any treatment for that matter . will this hamper my employment even though i can hear conversational voice in day to day activities .I am little worried Kindly advice me Doctor please and Doctor Kindly throe some light on "Hearing standards "for employment in india .
