What I like is you keep things very clinical and very relevant. What one would see on a day to day basis. As a foundation one it’s really useful

Love the quick and to the point video. Very helpful. It seems like the camera man has intentional tremor.

    That was a great video!
I had some doubts. A lot of different words are being used like Functional and Physiologic tremors. Are they the same as essential tremors? Which tremors are worsened by coffee or anxiety?

Functional tremors are different to essential tremors. They are also poorly understood but involve problems with the nervous system, while having no neurological cause - a form of functional movement disorder. Essential tremors appear to be genetic, and happen regardless of whether one is distracted, and do not respond to the same treatments that FT does. As for coffee or anxiety both FT and ETs can be affected by this. (I myself have an ET and coffee and anxiety exacerbate symptoms terribly). Here's a good breakdown: essentialtremortreatment.com/essential-tremor-functional-tremor-whats-difference/

Is it possible to have what are clearly resting tremors without Parkinson's?

That’s what I’m triying to find out myself

@@aracelysbarron164 if it helps mine went away, I suffered a histamine (have histamine tolerance) reaction from a medication which resulted in asphyxiation and a degree of carbon dioxide poisoning. I believe my brain may have have taken minor damage as I was left with a very noticeable resting tremor and if I'm being honest with you at the time I was worried I might have just triggered parkinsons. However as time passed the tremor became less and less noticeable to the point now were you have to look really hard to tell there is one at all. This happened over 3 years ago now and been no problems since.
