Actually crafted him yesterday. So far this set has a lot more interesting commanders than Eldraine, even outside the commander set.
Worth noting that your vampires don't lose their ability even if Clavileño dies, and also that vampire tokens can actually get the ability as well. It's because of this that I'm running stuff like Legion's Landing, Mavren Fein and Elenda.
as a sliver aficionado, it makes me sad to see that most first sliver decks are just 5 color good stuff decks
Hard agree on that. Good stuff First Sliver is the least fun deck to match up with. If your deck doesn’t have counters or not fast enough, u r basically dead.

Most of the really good slivers aren't on arena. There used to be an amazing slivers deck on one of the duels of the planeswalker games but it didn't go nearly as hard as the first sliver decks.
The funny thing to do would be to take a great commander and make it a sliver deck. Maybe Rocco street chef

I bought Blood Rites precon and it kinda felt powerful. Granted, I'm usually play 1v1 or 1v1v1, so it's not usual 4 players.
Can confirm that by simply switching 10 cards it gets out of hand real fast
@@amarauk9687 we're mostly casual, so I won't be upgrading much unless cards are very thematically fitting, but even as is deck is fun and strong.

Blasting with this deck didn’t quite have all the lands and missing a couple of cards but filled them with others. Been trying to get a vampire deck going in standard but to no avail. This is definitely quenching though!
Clavileno is definitely one of my favorite cards from the new set. Good stuff!

been playing brawl with ancient one, if you play big permanents and use ancient one's ability you can mill 8 in one go to get a turn 3 or 4 8/8 if ur library is almost all permanents. then reanimate whatever you discard with stuff like cauldron of eternity

Regarding the pronunciation, the closest approximation to the ñ is the "gn" in "lasagna". Or phonetically, just replace the ñ with "ny".
So, Clavileño becomes Clavilenyo.
Also, unrelated but i'll say it anyways: there's no fucking ñ in habanero. It's not habañero. It's habaNero.

Are you talking about Clavileno? Nah, he's a commander product card that got put in arena. The ability isn't perpetual either since it's lost once the creature changes zones.
@@tonysmith9905 yes. And I do get it, it's not perpetual. But it's a massive amount of text that's added onto the other cards that is way beyond what a "counter" could've ever been
