Man how does our feelings mislead us truly , feelings really dont have a place in the facts of God's existence , believe his word , stop looking at yourself and look unto christ , believe , by faith , do we need feelings to believe not for a second, its god remembering you is what counts, your identity in christ , what does God's word say about your identity , that is what can be trusted , not my feeling, does God's word change? Have you heard, recieved, and believed the gospel that saves your soul? To go to heaven, the bible says God requires absolute perfection. We are all born into sin, therefore you are a sinner. You are seperated from God because of sin and your rebellion against God. In the book of Romans 5:12 we read: "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned" In Galatians chapter 3 verse 22 we read: "But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe" For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord -Romans 6:23 THE GOSPEL OF YOUR SALVATION: God sent His Son (Jesus) to pay for your sin. In doing so, Jesus gave his life as the ONLY means by which you can be accepted by God in heaven. A sinner in need of a Savior is saved from the grip of death and eternal seperation from God, when we put our full trust in Jesus's: A. Death B. Burial C. Resurrection ..according to scripture. We read in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV): "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you THE GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also YE ARE SAVED, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain; For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, HOW that CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS according to the scriptures; And that he was BURIED, and that he ROSE AGAIN the third day according to the scriptures." So if you believe that.. A. Jesus DIED B. Jesus was BURIED. C. Jesus ROSE AGAIN the third day ..then you are SAVED! You are now a member of the Body of Christ. Notice also that saying the right thing or any kind of performace based work is not required to be saved from this gospel. God DOES NOT require a sinner or believer to trust in the rapture as payment for ones sins. In fact, If one adds something to Jesus gospel of salvation, or we believe we must take away from what Jesus already did, we are in serious error. Our Apostle Paul in Gal 1:8 & 9 warns us - "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." We read from Eph 2:8 - 10: "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them" Titus 3:5 & 6 shows us we are saved.. "..not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour" I encourage you to study Gods word for yourself (2 Tim 2:15 King James Version). You will discover more about who you are in Jesus. Like the following.. Eph 1:6,13,14 tells us we are redeemed through the blood of Jesus' finished work and his complete payment of our sins until we meet him in heaven: "To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the *gospel of your salvation:* in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession (rapture), unto the praise of his glory." Romans 1:16 says belief in Jesus' faith and his gospel alone saves us.. "For I am not ashamed of the GOSPEL OF CHRIST for it is the POWER of GOD unto SALVATION to EVERY ONE THAT BELIEVETH; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."
