Never seen bricks buttered like that ?? You’ve made that look hard work pal ! Bit muck on ya trowel 1 long scrape down the brick and perp top and bottom job done
@@BuildingwithBudd and that's all that matters...it's what your comfortable with that matters most my man...your more experienced than most commenters so new tricks and all that
I like your style, nice and relaxed, getting the work done with no fuss keeps you going, instead of turning everything into a rushed uppity stress drama. That's a real nice thing about not working for some bozo outfit, you get to work the way you like. And then the singing and banter and the nice finish come naturally. And then when everybody has something to say about how you should be doing it this way or the other that's just more free entertainment - it’s hard to find a builder without an opinion 😎 I always smile when people tell me I should be doing this or that differently: the person paying the bill decided they wanted me to do it, and with that they know I will be doing it my way, and get the desired results, so thanks for the input and good luck with your own projects! I enjoy seeing how other people go about their work to see and learn, some detail or twist or move or little trick, the problemsolving and issues to avoid... it's a great opportunity to think about all of it.
I bet the same bloke's who are making the negative comments are the one's who sit in the bait cabins boasting about how many they laid here and how much they made there, yeah yeah yeah we've heard it all before
No starter bars to tie it in then.? No blackjack or cut slot to stop damp transferring throught the wall? Hope its studwork inside given the lack of wall ties!
Nice work 👍.. if you put a couple of bricks flat on the spot or similar, you can fill the brick holes up 1st...let it go for a bit, then you can perp the brick as normal...gives you a full joint etc...👍

Well said, many thanks for watching 👍👍
Smart work as always Budd.
You’re far, far more skilled than you make out, which is the best way to be. Modest approach, top quality work.
Really enjoyed the vid. Old school but good school. Nice work
👍
Nice work old Budd, you make it look so easy, but anyone in the trade knows it not, your right old Norfolk geezers , love it 👍👍

Excelente trabajo 👌👌 saludos desde Chile 🇨🇱
Looked painful that!! And why when pointing don’t you just have muck on your trowel instead of your hand?
Very painful mate
Why do you butter it up like that
The same reason as you make your comments, because I can 👍😀
Why aren’t you busy making electric vehicles for the building trade 👍
Wear gloves man, you only have two.
I can’t wear gloves I have to feel what I’m doing, just works for me , thanks for watching 👍👍
