A main reason I'm going to love this series is because I started watching NL when he was playing arma III Dayz back in 2011. this is some nice nostalgia mixed with new nl and crew
I can see why dan plays this so much. So little happens, he can afford to just interact with chat and get that sweet viewer emotional attachment that translates to dosh long term.
As a tarkov veteran their is a bit of downtime. But if you push shots and play certain maps this game is intense. Not to mention the jump you get when you are shot at during your blissful downtime

I feel like this game has a very high learning curve so it's not very newbie accessible (for Ryan and Mathas' sake). Plus Ryan has expressed his discontent for this game in the past I believe

You need a better guiding hand through the game. I hope you do more than just the 3 episodes. This would be really entertaining if you had more knowledge of the hotkeys, maps, guns, mechanics, and strats. Couple tips: Make sure to pack all of your mags before you go into raid. Bandages stop bleeding, AI-2's heal your HP. 100/100 at the bottom right corner would be read 100 health points out of 100 health points max. So the Ai-2 can heal 100 HP total. The IFaK Dan had given you was only at 89/300 so you were only able to heal 89 of your hp before it ran out. The IFaK stops bleeding and heals you. The morphine you receive in the next episode is a painkiller but it's effects last twice as long and start much sooner. The majority of the AK platform uses 5.45x39. The best early level 5.45 ammo is T until you get to level 2 Prapor (one of the traders). At that point it is PP ammo Ammo is rated for 3 factors. The amount of flesh damage it deals, the amount of armor penetration, and blunt damage (how much damage the bullet deals to your health if it doesn't penetrate). While searching bodies you can scroll down through their inventory . Where it says "UNSEARCHED" you can click and it will search the pockets, bag, and vest. You can only reload ammo from your vest and your pockets. For production value, if you continue with the gang, anytime someone dies the dead people can go into an offline raid. You lose nothing in this raid even if you die or use your ammo. Nothing is saved in the raid. You can explore maps and practice looting and shooting. You can turn the AI on or leave them off. It's preferable to only bring in one weapon. That way you lose less if you die and you gain more if you live since you would be able to hold more stuff. You can pack a magazine from top or bottom. This determines where those bullets will be. So, if you have different types of the same caliber in the gun you can put your better ammo first or last. You can also intersperse tracer ammo into to keep track of how much ammo is left in the mag. This is becoming long-winded. Just excited you have finally tried Tarkov.
