- The BMP-2M was added to War Thunder as a Squadron Vehicle. This thing is pretty crazy. An improved BMP-2 but with the same drawbacks at a higher BR.
The ATGM's on this thing are some of the best in the game and you get 4 more than the standard BMP-2. The BMP-2M in War Thunder can also fire ATGM's on the move, has the same 30mm Cannon and even has a Grenade Launcher for added potency. It can be earned for free as long as you are part of a Squadron.

When he said your luck drops with a booster I felt that on a personal level every time I activate like a 200% I always die in the beginning of the game
Ive had a 900% SL booster from the warbond shop crate for nearly 2 years. I'm too afraid to use it for the same reason.

I love phlee' meme level editing and gameplay but there's something about seeing you being happy and enhoying the game makes me hate the grinding in war thunder less now. So, thank you Odd and keep up the vids.

I was able to catch a ride in BMP 1 and 2 and our Driver floored it trough rough terrain. Most Fun i've ever had. But I tell you, the Engine on the BMP Series is sooooooo Loud, you would not understand a word when the Driver revs it.
Gator AAv is also notoriously loud.
I’d love the chance to actually ride in one only been in a « destroyed » one.

Been on the barrel of a m18 in a memorial parade as a kid, coldest me and my sister have been in our life (sleet and wind, we were drenched, parents had a Dodge WC42 and drove Canadian vets, awesome people) 100% worth it.
And rode along in a Leopard 1 at the military base later.

I'm in a discord server where we have a section in which all War Thunder news appear as soon as they are out so that helps a lot
@@PrintScreen. I'm in a squadron of only my friends and when ever it is that they distribute the points I only get a max of 1k

It's always had been that way when they release a new premium.
Buying it is basically you're only option. 4 months to research it out it'll be nerfed to uselessness before you ever get it.

You can also take the t72a in at 9.3 BR, To saw you missed that. I'd say t72a together with bmp2 and t64a makes for a pretty good lineup at 9.3

literally the same missiles as the 9.7 Khrizantema, but at 9.3 and you can even fire it on the move lol and you also have a BMP2 for AA and for meme purposes....
and don't forget it's a tandem missile so on top of 1200mm pen it ignores any ERA protection as well lol not that it's matters

@@kerotomas1 Technically, it's not the same missiles as the Khrizantema-S. That thing uses the 9M123 Khrizantema missile while the BMP-2M uses the 9M133 Kornet. The difference is that the former is radar-guided (ACLOS) and SACLOS, while the Kornet is only SACLOS.
And I don't think having 1200mm of pen at 9.3 is that big of any issue. The only vehicles at that BR that rely on armor are Russian, while everyone else is primarily mobility and/or firepower based. Almost any non-Russian vehicle from 8.3-9.3 can already be penned from almost any range by most APFSDS, which is already better and more reliable than any ATGM since you don't have to guide it and it will usually be around 4-5 times faster than the ATGM. The only BR where the 1200mm of pen is of any note is 10.3 since it can just barely go through the M1A2's turret, although post-pen damage is probably shit.

after I spaded thermal sight, engine exhaust smoke annoyed my every time when I tried to aim to the right side. it blinds my view completely if I use thermal sight.

odd iknow 1200mm is good missile but i been using the HE rocket and it has 10kg tnt charge and works like a kv2 pretty much. mostly onehots from the front at 10.0 =D it has proxy fuse for helis too

Unfortunately to my understanding SRP is capped at 20k every 3 days. So this thing being 510k rp will take 78ish days to grind out assuming you Max you cap every time and spend no GE.
Not sure im a fan of the 510k RP vehicles, really hoping that doesn't become the norm for any new teirs they add.
Dec 2020. I unlocked this boi and can't seem to pen anything with it, sideways or otherwise?? How do you find it now?
Coming back to this after 7 months.... dropped to BR 8.7, and you can take APDS and an additional belt of HE.. missiles are still 1200mm pen and the thermal sight is still amazing, it didnt get downgraded to the shitty gen1 thermals with the BR drop... BUY IT . its a damn good vehicle for the BR

I used the grenade launcher in the test drive and it shreds tracks and cannon barrels

If you watch the kill feed in his second match you can see a sea hawk kill a friendly plane with rp3s
most russian light tanks are amphibious. the BMD, the BTR's, the BMP's, theyre all amphibious. they float fully.
Also dont know if you said this but the cannon is good for AA

Constantine Joseph Russian naming is pretty simple and straightforward - M means Modernized. Every time - Su85M, T10M, T55M, T62M, etc.
Now imagine if we got the nato 40mm auto grenade launcher with 60-70mms of pen

@@mitri5389 No, it's the 40mm grenade that has that heat penetration. And i do realize that the Russian 30mm is only HE, I was just saying that it would be nice if they put some 40mm ones on the ground vehicles of the Nato pact.
