In Zoom view you can use Alt+F for radar tracking for you guns! Aim at the target (Aircraft) and than press Alt+ F! If activated while zooming it should still track while not zooming for a periode of time!

I sometimes camp the enemy airspawn with a fighter to deal with annoying cas spam. Most are not even able to use c key to look around so easily kills.

Use the IRST mode on 2s6. Stops people from dodging when they hear the lock tone.
Also please play the stormer HVM like this, sometimes you get really lucky and get like 6-7 air kills and the occasional Light tank or get sent back to the hanger. pair it with Harrier Gr1 with SRAAMs and go anti air only

Surely I can't be the only person who saw that T80BVM randomly appear out of thin air at the start on cargo port, whilst Bawz is sat next to the B cap

One tip for this, other than the first thing, is to set the keybind up that lets the radar screen range out to 20km instead of 10. That way you can use all 16km of range that this thing has, and you know when a plane spawns right when it does, instead of when it gets to within 10km of you
Y-1-8 as soon as i spawn.
Y-1-3 as soon as i get a ping. Disable radar--> no lock warning. Optical works just fine :)
@@leflavius_nl5370 radar is still helpful for knowing that an f-5 just spawned out of visual range and is about to skyclimb and nail you with a bullpup. Even though you shouldn't lock on to it and instead use ir

Always use IRST mode on this thing in -8 km shots
Its easier to lock on and it cant be chaffed
It also gives the enemy no warning that they are locked
IRST Can be flared tho sometimes you'll switch lock to the flares? Idk about th 2s6 specifically tho

@@smippycis6285 the tungy very rarely loses lock to flares. I've locked people that then pass behind mountains and the tungy instantly regains lock
Also a great idea to set the radar scale to 20km since the default of 10Km isn’t the max range. Lets you see when jets spawn which makes it much easier to keep track of them.
And much harder for them to hide since they can’t go above/hide from your radar before they get into the default radius
I wish an update brings more variety of anti aircraft vehicles from the Cold War and WWII
This vehicle always brings back the Battlefield 3 vibes for me
And 4. Loved it on Operation Firestorm map.

The sounds are so fucked at the moment, a tank can be directly behind me and I won't hear it. They said they fixed the problem, but of course their incompetence always manages to shine through.
Every update they break the game more, sounds haven't worked for me properly since last year and now I can't mark on the map without shooting/moving and I can't use the chat menu to say ty too people that repair me.
you can use IRST to lock targets without them noticing also you can extend the radar range so you can see them coming from up to 19KM away if you go into the Y menu and go to radar you can select 4 and it will make it IRST you can also find the button to extend the radar range there

Honestly gaijin should change it so that the ticket counter stops until the nuke is dropped or your shot down and unable to drop, otherwise whats the point, 9/10 times a nuke is earned by a skilled player, the 1/10 is luck
had a game where we got 2 nukes a game. One was killed, i dropped mine. somehow depsite getting 2 nukes were loosing. i have a video on my channel if you want, nukes like the last 3 mins :)
I always drive this thing backwards to use the engine as additional armour. It often works very well. As long as you're covered in bushes with your radar down, this thing is deadly to tanks. Even the missiles will kill an abrams if you hit the top of the tank.
Your intros are 80% of the reason I watch love them keep up the good work.

BawZ, "The Black Lord". That's a reference to the (in)famous Michael Wittmann, aka "The Black Baron." Random factoid, I was watching a documentary on bizarre old, very old English laws. Apparently, it was legal to kill a Scotsmen. Now that certainly doesn't apply today, but that law is still on the books. Here in the US, states still have bizarre laws like that too.
I like to kill my radar on this thing and creep into places, most helicopters/jets can see the radar ping. So with me going silent they often have no idea until its too late. Also really prefer to make my crosshair red with this thing using the ingame key bind. Gives much better aiming.

The tunguska secret purpose is to avenge all tanks destroyed by planes in the past.
I cant begin to explain how many times that "THING" has blown me out of the sky before I've even gotten close to the battle field.

This tank is probably my main motivation for grinding russia, but at least on paper I feel like the ITO is better for killing planes
The Tunguska is surprisingly good at killing ground vehicles, or at least hurting them bad for someone else finish. You wont be disappointed with this beast.
VT1 missiles are absolutely god tier, but the IRST mode for auto tracking makes tungie worth it. I wish ITO had some version of optical or IRST tracking without relying on the radar to ping planes
ITO lacks IRST but technically the 2S6 is anti-everything not just planes. Although as someone whose grinded all of Russian tanks except the foldered ones, 2S6 should definitely be 11.0 if the ADATS + others are 11.0.

If you bind the target select and lock with cycle, you can look in sniper mode with the RwR direction lock a target to acquire direction and unlock again. It’s the best way to find thing within BVR or out of sight.

14:40 how tf does he not die or lose any crew or take any critical damage. he gets shot 5 times by HSTVL . This happens so often during the video too, like he gets shot twice by an an abrams and then he just turns around and kills it. Mind you tunguska can be penned anywhere by even light MG.
Tbh if I were to play war thunder, I'd likely prioritize the AA lines first, because to me, a clear sky is a safe sky
