Hi, if you are really serious about moving to Russia then stop worrying what BBC is writing. Focus on learning the Russian language, and on establishing networking connections inside Russia. You have a long way before your actually move, so don't waist time. Instead focus on establishing a road map to have a successful start there. The more you can prepare yourself now, the easier it's going to be after the move. It's not going to be an easy road, but you still can find a better future in Russia then in South Africa. Good luck!
Hey, thank you so much for the kind words, honestly felt like the motivation you gave me !! I agree for video purposes I mix in the politics and laughter. I am actively talking with the Welcome to Russia volunteers and moving to Russia support to get a proper foot on everything !! @@pearson_aiden If you can, I suggest traveling to Russia first to see if it's a right place for you. You have to feel inside that it's a right move. You can only get that feeling once you see everything with your own eyes and feel with your heart. It's a life changing experience and you have to be sure it's the right one for you. Go to Russia as a tourist, but don't stay for long in touristy places. Try to rent a place in a region you see yourself living, and then you can observe the neighborhood, and interact with locals to feel if it's what you want to be around. But, very few people speak English there, and you have to start learning Russian right the way. Or apply to one of the Russian universities to study Russian for a smother transaction.

Hello, Aiden I am Russian, I have studied in Ireland, worked in China and obviously in Russia for more than 10 years as an Engineer in various fields (mostly Automotive and milititary/space engineering). There are many fields that you can grow and build your business even with something simple like producing sensors or simple SW for electronics devices and localized it. This is something that sanctioned severly and reverse engineering mostly applied in many cases. Do not believe that everything corrupt, nowadays, I would say, it is not true. People who want to do business can do and have success without getting involved with the politics or dirty stuff. Russia for sure is a big market and beautiful country with many, many problems and different people like any other place, nevertheless, It is up to you to surround yourself with the right ones. So, whatever beholds for you let it be. Good luck!
The most kind words, I have gotten. Thank you so much!! I stand with you I believe I have a Russian soul, and thank you for a bit of insight into the market of Russia, Will definitely figure out the best industry to pursue. I agree to cancel out the negatives and politics, for me it is simple, build my life there, build the business, and document it all for you. A long and scary journey ahead. Thank you for watching my video.
I moved to Malawi, one of poorest countries in the world. There's a market that's alot more open here, alot less competitive, and so many niches that haven't been filled. If you're a problem solver, go where there are problems. You know this thing about only being able to work with black people though, is in many countries. In UK, funding for black people, in Malawi, funding for black people. As a white man you have to either attach yourself to black people or women if you want opportunities. Good luck in Russia man. Another UA-camr(Ryan McBeth) makes the case that Russia is on a War-Economy, similar to what the USA was during WW2. Russia's vision is to take Ukraine in order to repay the money spent on this War-Economy, which they eventually will, unless the Western Nations interfere directly, in which case we have WW3. Apparently Putin will eventually also try to incorporate Poland into Russia, after which Russia will have ended up with naturally strong defensive geographic features.
I am going to check out Ryan here on UA-cam !! I agree, though, I strongly believe that Russia is focused on building itself self, not caring about everyone else like the Western nations" as well there have been so many stories around Russia and this war that nothing makes sense around it, I followed a different perspective before the war even started and it was simple the three cities in Ukraine against Russian borders wanted to declare them self independent from Ukraine because of suppression and once this was done Ukraine started bombing these people (their own people) therefore Russia then moved in to stop them, as well there have been many images and proof indicating that the Ukrainian army is NATZI* images shows this !!
