Hey everyone, not that many will care but CannonBall is from my hometown! In Southeast KY an old quaint county with a big history named Harlan sits. You may have heard of Harlan from the hit show “Justified”, or perhaps our nickname “Bloody Harlan KY” that was coined from deadly riot shootings and the national guard being sent. In Harlan, exists a small city named Cumberland. Cannonball is more specifically from that city. Years ago that town was in fact a huge coal mining town. People lived in coal towns owned by coal companies, getting paid with commissary money called script money that the miners gave right back to the coal companies. Over time, coal mining and many jobs has died out, in its absence theres a lot of drugs/abuse and homeless here.
As a non marvel comic reader, I cannot express how much I appreciate you adding a quick background synopsis for the new cards! I wish I had time to pick up the comics, but unfortunately a few marvels snap rounds is all I have time for in my busy days. Keep up the good work, man! XD
Just always add a rock, it's not too much to ask. What's the point of adding a rock if other locations are full, which pretty much only could happen at the last turn.
I think a possible buff for Cannonball will be Moving the highest-power enemy card to one location to the left. If that's not possible destroy and replace with a rock.
Stopped cashing in on every card for awhile now and I can now appreciate the value of researching whether its worth it or not. Been holding onto my keys for Warmachine for weeks now but ngl I’m itching to use them
Yeah, I’ve saved entire months before, which made it possible to cash in on whole months. I’m saving for April, considering using tokens on War Machine, and yes I have a huge itch for Cannonball.

Next to that was Cull Obs just cuz how easy it was to meet the conditions. Wasted my keys on Corvus and Proxima before that thinking discard was gonna get way better
How about this Cannonball Becomes 4-Cost 0-power. On reveal move enemy highest power to there next highest power location. If it can't move then its replaced with a rock. If it does move cannonball gains plus 5 power. This change would discounts him and put hime in Zabu and Revonna targets. He still would fit in the decks he's currently fitting in, while also adding mr.negative decks, kraven, and grandmaster more consistently. Any thoughts?
Junk Cannon is a sleeper hit if you get Galactus early. The first time it happened for me it was my opponents fault bc his Morphed it. And second time I got him early with Pixie. An early galactic plus a goblin and then cannonball at the end guarantees a destroy. Worked really well!
Thanks for the video and the deck. Not a bad card, but the RNG and the cost make him a pass for me. Also, does anyone else climb up the ladder fairly easily at first, only to hit a certain level and go on a long losing streak?
This is just a losing tilt, stop playing for a while if u keep losing. X Men boosts killed my Cerebro 2 so I went nuts and lost many cubes, but Coccia's Hope Surfer X Men deck took me to Infinity asap the next day.

@@RipVanWonka I'm terrible at snapping, I won't lie. Almost every time I think I have a winning play line and snap, the opponent wins. Again, it's likely a combination of not playing often, being bad at the game, and bad luck. :)

Had 5 keys so I gambled one on Cannonball, got the kitty variant instead and honestly I may be happier that I got her rather than cannonball (and I already have 2 Kitty spotlight variants)
He's one you'd be happy to see from the Random Series 4/5 but not one you want to waste keys on before the War Machine week. That said, I think he'd go great into like a Kraven/Kingpin deck. Maybe as either a replacement for 2099 or Aero. But I'd much rather see him at 4/6 (like Stegron) instead of 5/8 or 5/9 so he could be played on Curve with Aero following and then Ghost/2099 or Magneto. He also seems like he'd have great synergy with Grand Master.
Prof X shut down a lane,so if one lane is full,the other Prof X'dyou got destruction,instead move with Cannonball,due there is nowhere to move. @@CasualGamerThrai It's good synergy beside the obvious lane lockdown.

Hope Summers only work with Prof X if you play a zero cost together with her on turn 3, right? Otherwise you end up playing Prof X only on turn 5 anyway.
I don't think cannonball is going to turn out to be good as the meta shakes out, but I do see him fitting pretty well into some junk decks that you might want to have in your back pocket whenever thanos starts to become too popular in the meta off and on.
Rather than it becoming a 5/9 card, I would make it a 4/6 or even 4/5 card, but make it always create a rock, no matter if the enemy card is moved or destroyed. That would make it work well in Junk decks.
Too many games where your opponent fills the board. I think you have him and when you need him you use him. There is always flex spots and I think he's good value. Really like the Junk Canon style deck.
If they decided to make every new card a series 5 card they should at least do drops more often. Right now it's impossible to keep up without spending a good amount of money
I'm so upset that I opened pixie thinking I could get both mockingbird and mrs. marvel the same week, but obviously that changed. i also updated the game right away, so got screwed from that too. Now i think i have to pass on getting mrs. marvel, cuz i have to be able to get war machine, and I really don't want to have to do that
is it worth me brining a key to try and get ball then? I only have a few hours left. I got the MSM/Kitty variants in my first 2 keys, so I just stopped. I know what this RNG looks like, and my card was likely behind door number 4. I decided because of this, I would just save. After the sheer amount I dropped on the Proxima and Pixie weeks, I had to reel it back in. This also taught me to buy the new card with tokens first, if I want their new variant that badly. So after burning 6 on Proxima week, then a full 8 on Pixie, I have started to be a lot more frugal with my keys. At the end of the day though. I'm just happy to have the Spotlights for my gals. Proxima is the saviour of Disco, and those Pixie and Bird Pandarts are just phenomenal. I really hope we get more in this style, as I much prefer it to the full realism style stuff. I mean the stuff in the album is great (especially the prof and death) but a lot of the stuff that isn't in the album, is just a miss for me. The Pandart stuff that is closer to classic comic book art, is straight up fire.
I get that the card is not amazing, and not worth the resources, but every highlight makes him look very fun. I want that Kitty spotlight more tho, maybe I’ll take a chance with one key at the end of the week, see what happens.

He's not a great card but I just had to have him. I'm a big fan of the New Mutants and I hope they eventually make the whole team. We just need Magma, Warlock, Karma and Cypher.
Fair enough, but compare it to Shang Chi (who's also overtuned). He's 4/3, and guaranteed kills 10+ power cards. Cannonball has tougher conditions to meet, with a comparable effect, ergo, higher power. Am I wrong? @@HigherKaiju

Are you not escaping effectively then? Running and learning to effectively snap is what gets you through Galactic.

Ive honestly never thought about the Ravona goblin synergy. That's a great combo
There is some slight synergy with man thing since you are destroying the card and turning it into a rock it could make cannonball a 5/10

Easy fix is making Cannonball move all of your cards at the location played. Play it in move decks with torch, multiple man, phoenix, dagger etc.
I've been using Juggernaut to move the opponent's cards. He is so much fun to use. Can't see myself using Cannonball since Juggernaut is 3 cost.
Which makes him work great on curve with cards like storm

Pro X Shuts the lane down, which allow cannonball to have a much better chance destroying a card rather than moving it.
