I am part of a national organzation Ladies Homesteading Gathering started in 2011 in Georgia. Meeting once a month delving into anything connected to honesteading - gardening, food preservation, making anything from clothes to crafts, eating or using every eatables from mushrooms, herbs, medicinal vegetation in essentail oils, extracts, teas, tinctures, creams, salves, etc.

Each country needs to invest in its own crops food supply and not rely on other countries... plus we need to go back to seasonal eating, not availability thtoughout the year. Follow historical use and preservation of foods!
