I ordered a set on the 20th still waiting for them to be shipped out. The wait is killing me, I can't wait to get them in. Thank you for the collaboration and bringing this beautiful set to us Killermaru!
This is my favorite rundown on any lock pick set that I’ve ever heard! I love listening to you talk about the lock picks in your accent 👍🏼 Something about it all makes the set seem more exotic and high-end 😂 or maybe I’m just weird. Either way, fantastic job!
Well, his tools 'Look' absolutely Stunning. Don't love the pick selection much. He had a set on Instagram that had a nice complement of Hooks that I Loved, though they all looked very similar but the steep angle was an idea I've had for making my own. All the rakes are fine but I already have the Polaris which has been so good I still haven't used them all yet. I would like to try his wrenches but I think the flex of the picks isn't going to make much of a difference though I can see how it sounds good in theory. If I never have a problem popping an SFIC with a tool that doesn't really flex, I can't imagine it will make much difference if I buy one that does. Anywho, great vid and they are pretty to look @, and frankly, for the amount of craftsmanship needed to make them, the price isn't bad. My only knock would be the size but I pick in situ and not chilling @ a vice with a bottle of wine and soft music playing.
Very nice. I'm curious if you couldn't just make the tension tools ambidextrous ? The handles wouldn't be that much thicker, & would have the same features in both directions. What do you think ? Thanks for sharing. (Concept & demonstration)
I just ordered the tensioners and wonder if there's any give away contest or something. I'm new I just ordered my sparrow graduated lock set as well. I have cheap set picks. I save hard to gain these and will be so I happy I know. Thanks. You smile and be well my frien.
Interessante , ho letto la tua intervista sul sito della Sparrows , quindi dobbiamo ringraziare te se ora in Italia è possibile il lock picking sport, o sbaglio ?
Got them today. Firstly they're extremely pretty, and fit the colour-scheme of my life. Secondly, I was able to pick my front-door for the first time ever with these picks, after years of trying! the tension tools are very good for seeing counter-turn as the gap above the "leaf-spring" in the middle closes slightly...something i've always struggled with feeling.
Every good lockpicker I know wants a more rigid tool to increase feedback almost universally so. I find springy tensioners to be atrocious to pick with. Even when raking why not just use less tension?
Thx for Your feedback! But try think "outside the box" u know... More u push more u stuck the pins... So let the spring makes the "dirty work for you" 😉🤜
@@killermaru i wouldn't necessarily call it outside the box. I would call it reliving the lessons of over a century of lockpicking. Just like any skill, like an instrument, there's some pretty universal opinions. To each their own but people don't even enjoy wiper inserts for their lack of rigidity. Universally among decent pickers is the quest for tight fitting very rigid tensioners.
Really tempted to buy a set because they look amazing but… they kinda look uncomfortable to hold? And is that not just a small piece of heatshrink where your fingertips sit? Wondering whether they’re worth the $115+ AUD 🤔
As a locksmith of going on 20 years, this is actually brilliant... Well done!!!
😁🙏🖤
i dont have anything to do with locks and i want this, its just so beautiful

renzi parla mejo seriamente ahhahahah
Seems like it would equally mute feedback. It’s cool n all but I’m good.
Is there way to win set of picks maybe I can enter?
