Sterling could actually be a massive player for arsenal. At his best only a few years ago he was a world class winger. He is still a very dangerous attacker, just lost confidence in his finishing. He still scored 8 goals in the league last year being supposedly dreadful.
@@MR.Paddington.rovers he failed to release the ball Unmarked against Wolves last season. And because these teams usually play low block against teams like Arsenal he will lose the ball a lot with his poor dribbling skills.
Pep’s greatest ever coaching achievement was putting sterling in the world class conversation and getting 30+ goal involvements a season out of him consistently. He’s bang average
The best thing about the Sterling transfer is that Arsenal cant lose. If he regains his best form, he could start in RW/LW and raise the level of Arsenal's attack. If he doesnt, he is still a better backup to Saka than Nelson and at the same wage of 100k weekly that Nelson would have been paid.
Nicolas Jackson seems like the most obvious choice to prove people wrong this season, because the general public’s perception is so far off reality. I’ve just watched a video where somebody was trying to argue that Liam Delap & Welbeck are better than him with a straight face.
Well your perception of Welbeck is also really far off reality then because I actually think he’s a really good striker. You’re saying people underrate Jackson when you’re underrating a striker still playing at the highest level at 33 and making a massive impact on games for a team challenging to get into Europe.
@@GuitarJammerJohn who cares if welbeck is 33? We’re talking about who is currently better not who is currently more impressive for their age. In Jackson’s 1st prem season at 22 years old, he scored 5 more goals than Welbecks best ever season in his 13 year PL career. You say that welbeck is impacting games for a team challenging to get into Europe (11th last season) whilst ignoring the Jackson does that for a team that are already in Europe (6th last season).
@@tspcontent4630 no I’m not ignoring that Chelsea finished 6th and I’m not saying Jackson doesn’t have ability. I’m saying being compared to Welbeck isn’t an insult if Jackson is still anywhere near that level when he’s 33 he’ll have had a great career. I wasn’t arguing with whether Jackson will be good I was actually saying being compared to Welbeck is actually a complement not the insult you seemed to think it was. It’s also not just about how many goals you score it’s about scoring the important ones. Drogba is a great example of that he actually wasn’t that prolific but he scored when it mattered.
Do you think people don’t improve with age and experience? Ryan was 21, dom was 22, Alex 25 in their first year playing together, I think 3rd isn’t bad for a first season.
It's very simple. Madueke should never have been on the bench last season and Palmer should never have been on the wing. Madueke on the right and Sterling on the left should have always been on the Chelsea wings last season, but Pochettino was only forced into realising this at the end of the season due to injuries and this would have been the plan for this season with the new manager if the owners had not forced him to push Sterling out and find replacements. It was disorganisations and bad decisions being made all around him right through Sterling's time at Chelsea. And as for those in the media who keep saying he is going to be a bacck up player to throw more negativity at him to go with claims he may be going to Crystal Palace which is an insult to a player of his caliber, you are deluded and need to stop with the nonsensical negative rubbish written about him that is not backed by facts. Poor finishing, inconsistency and bad decision making does not get you to be the highest scoring winger in Premier League history, if you exclude penalties, with over 3 years of your career still to play, and make able to almost single handedly drag your international team to their first final in over half a century which is something very difficult to do and only achieved by players like Messi, Zidane, Modric, Maradonna, Pele, Mbappe, etc. If you think it is easy, just ask Rooney, Gerrard and Debruyne just how difficult it is. Sterling on one wing and Saka on the other should and would have been the pairing that got us to win an international competition if the media did not bulldoze the England manager and staff with negativity to get Sterling dropped from the England team as thhey had tried to do for the very final he dragged us to the final. In the end we just watched a Spain team with the 2 speedy dribbling high scoring wingers we should have had easily win the Euros, terrorising defenses with them in the way we should have done and won a competition. Speed is only as good as the person's ability to use and manipulate it as a weapon and few in football can use it better than Raheem Sterling. Sterling with his variety of weapons and Saka on both wings for Arsenal is going to give defenses serious headaches whichever side of the pitch the attack is coming from creating absolute chaos and panic at every turn? I CAAAAN'T WAIT! Peace and love
English people think very highly of Sterling. He is good, but he is not at all worth what you guys make him out to be. In fact if you check out his misses, his mis-passing, his selfishness, his beautiful ability to lose ball in good areas..it is frustrating to watch him in Chelsea blue doing so bad. Even when he played for City and he had the ball, as an opposition fan i did not feel scared or anxious when he came on to our defences. Highly overrated.
If you look at the thumbnail pic of Madueke, sterling and ryan grav it looks like sky put too much BBQ sauce on their face 🤷🏽♂️. You can literally see it on their foreheads they have a light coloured skin 😂 this is too much 😅
STERLING IF YOU ASK ME WILL NOT BE DOING GREAT. SAD REALITY THAT HE COULD WELL BE PAST HIS BEST. JUST SAYING WATCHING HIM FOR A LONG TIME I THINK HIS DAYS OF BEING GREAT HAVE NOW LEFT HIM. SAD BUT IT LOOKS THAT WAY.

Depends on how bad he plays
We definitely can loose
Zinchenko, Jorginho, Nwaneri, Timber can play in midfield. We don't have to move Havertz back. I think he should stay as striker.
Amad Diallo has been fine this year but I’m scratching my head as to what others are seeing 🤷
A lot have a point to prove, especially Sterling, Mudryk, Sancho and the list goes on

Jackson: *15 goals in one season*

Until Madueke (like Anthony) starts crossing with his left foot defenders will have him covered.
