Awesome, I have been rescuing small tables, chairs, items and spray painting, I wanted to make a chess table out of this one . THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO JOY JACKS
Hi Anne Marie. Thank you for watching and commenting. I used an inexpensive airbrush. It works better with a mini compressor but you can also use them with an aerosol attachment which is less expensive. I'm in the UK but I'm sure you can get these everywhere. It's a Badger Airbrush 250 www.toolstation.com/air-brush-kit/p84074?store=L5&gclid=CjwKCAiA65iBBhB-EiwAW253W3oCGCrTMeodUoLVXu_JZ7b9-7o5-FhkNH8lu83Wpz2uWfQq_t2-dhoClK0QAvD_BwE
Think looks great. Plan on painting my hardwood kitchen floors in a foreclosure I bought last month. Wanted to restrain them but previous owners put down hardy board with screws every 6 inches
Thanks for watching! I'm not too keen on painting floors as when the paint wears it can look pretty bad! Keep checking UA-cam for answers to your problem because there are loads of experts there .
So nice.... Im inspired now... New sub today and Im sharing this video... About to check out your other videos, I just found you today... Thanks for sharing Have a blessed day 💜😇 Rachel
Your work is gorgeous! I’ve done so many searches on UA-cam and Pinterest. There’s NO answer here. Can you show me how you mask your routed curvy edge for contrast paint color? I can paint furniture. But my hand isn’t steady and contrasting colors show EVERY wobble. Your edge here is gold. I see you masked for it. There’s no google search/Pinterest search/UA-cam search that gives me the curved routed edge contrast color mask off.
Thank you Hollie. If you pause the video at about 2.36 you can see that I cut the masking tape into short pieces so it would stick around the complicated curves. There was a small lip about 2-3mm at the top of the moulding which I stuck the tape to. It was quite tricky and there was a little bit of touching up to do after I removed the tape!
Sorry Bugsy. I tried to make the video self explanitory but if you follow the attached link in the description it will explain in more detail. I'm happy to answer any questions about the process. Thanks for watching!
@@bugsycline3798I'm just sharing my projects that I think may be helpfull to others. like you I search UA-cam for helpfull advice and I just like to give something back. I'm always happy to answer any questions if I can.

You did not show the masking details for the top chessboard. I want to do something similar but can't figure out how to mask it.
This is another one of my videos. It shows the masking process in more detail at around 3.33 ua-cam.com/video/9xgcrLwUzfE/v-deo.html
I have the same need as Mihaly Bak.
That's lovely. Somehow giving Alice in Wonderland vibes. X
How lovely ... I bet it gave you a lot of pleasure working on that project.
Wow I’m so impressed - going to paint our table at church for our Resource Centre like that. Thank you🤗
Wow! Beautiful craftsmanship! I gotta say that I prefer at least a few words of narration though.
Great result. Definitely inspired my next project. Thank you for sharing!
Fantastic workmanship
The squares should be a contrasting colour to the pieces. Easier to see a black object when it isn’t sitting on a black background.

Incredible job! So beautiful!
You didn't show the most important part:laying out the tape to get nice edges

Pointless video. You skip the main point of the how to, masking up the board
Glad you showed us how you taped it off thumbs down
