Such a good video. I’m definitely going to get this set now because the only thing stopping me was the horrible stud shooters on the plane. Glad u made this super easy to do with minimal pieces. What a lifesaver!
The sign post for Berlin is also inaccurate…as by this point in the film they’ve already left there. The Berlin signpost would be better used in the motorcycle chase set…as that is when they go to Berlin.
Thanks! The stand I got from a site called Wicked Brick. They've got a lots for display cases and stands, so you should be able to find whatever you're looking for👍
I suppose you could try some lightsaber hilts or the newer longer lightsaber hilt piece. Otherwise a combination of those hilt pieces plus some short bar pieces would work to also keep the fin pieces on the end, might make it a little big though 👍
Yeah, there's a mechanism developed in World War 1 I believe, called an interrupter? They had an interrupt mechanism connected to the engine so all the bullets passed BETWEEN the spinning blade of the propeller. Pretty nifty engineering. Similarly, later in World War 2, bombers had a mechanism built onto the outside of the top gun turret, so firing towards the rear of the aircraft a gunner could not shoot off the tail of the aircraft he was in.
The hub caps is the one thing i thought was missing from the set. And this is exactly what I did to my set
Cool mods! The stop-motion in this video was so smooth. I loved the animation of attaching the tires.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the mods and animation 😎
nice stop-motion

I just turned mine into a Junkers JU-87 Stuka
No imaginé un video de este set, pero es muy bienvenido
Dude, genius!! But i was hoping to find retractable landing gear :)
Even tho it's movie accurate the guns are not historically accurate because the pilatus P2 is a trainer and has no armament
yay this was an amazing video I loved the mods!
I’d put 2 by 4 tile pieces on the wings to make them look a little smoother.
Oh yes I was waiting for a video like this

That fighter pilot at 2:19 😅
great upgrades
Oooo one thing else to change is to move the exhaust ports facing the rear to be more accurate!
Hi, great video! I have the same set and was curious as to where you bought the stand for the airplane? I am new to lego! Thank you!

You know i used the same piece holding the car headlights and put them under the plane wings and now it looks like extra guns
I just flipped the wheels around and the rims look so much better
❤
I had similar ideas to mod this set
can you some mods to the temple of golden idol set 77015?
Perhaps…. 😎
what about extendjng the prop bc its super short

Where'd you pick up the stand for the fighter?
It’s a site called Wicked Brick that does loads of acrylic displays. Great quality and I highly recommend 👍
I like the tire mods on the car but little interesting on the gun placement, is he supposed to shoot through his own propellers? 😂
It’s actually apart of the real plane, the guns were timed with the propellers 👍

Were did you get that acryl stand for the plane? Please let me know! I need that! :D
It’s from a site called Wicked Brick, really nice place for display stands and cases 👍
@@MiniFig1210 Thank you so much!
Do you have a part number for the tires?
add the flag
