- This week we hit Mount Charleston for my last snowboard session of the winter season! After Snowboarding Lee Canyon I head out to a dispersed camp spot near Sawmill Picnic area, across the street from Deer Creek / Champion Road and made a Filipino Breakfast "LongSilog" on the Tembo Tusk Skottle!

Hey Kaden 👋 can't believe that you can still go skiing or should I say snowboarding this late in the year! 🏂 That's awesome....and that you saw snow coming down while you were there. Beautiful place, and all to yourself. Ok let's discuss your breakfast 😁 that looked so delicious!! 😋 I didn't know that there was sweet Longonesa? I know of the traditional mexican kind that one makes with scrambled eggs, but not a sweet version of the stuff. 🤔 Anyway, it looked all so delicious!! 😋🤤 As always you made me hungry pal....lol 😆 so when is dinner? @@Kadenventures Yes, it's a spicy version. You've had chorizo, right? Well it's kinda of them same... except the Longonesa is a bit more meaty than the regular chorizo. Give it a try. Go to most any market and it should be where the chorizo is at! Bon Appetit!! 👍
@@PhyllisGarcia-cf7fz Yes! I've had chorizo which is what I had in mind when you mentioned it lol we love cooking chorizo with sweet potatoes, it helps soak up some of that oil, add in some eggs into a tortilla and its so good!

Yes! I was actually going to make Tocino for this video but I ran out of time to marinate the pork lol i'll do that next time though!!

Pork tocino my favorite. Pork or beef silog. But if you wanna go hard core, tuyo. Tuyo, separates the casuals from the core. Daing na bangus or dried milk fish with fried rice. Just for reference. I'm an American who lived in the Philippines and married a Filipina. Now living in Vegas. Awesome video as usual.

Same sauce they use for lechon. onion, tomato, soy sauce, vinegar, some use patis(fish sauce) and some also use pickled ong choy
Yes!! We were actually back home in AK a few weeks ago, one of our friends moms made lechon and had the onion/tom/vinegar sauce and it was soo good with the lechon!

I made this video just a few weeks ago and the area was clean. I highly doubt anyone watching my videos are that trashy to ruin the area. Also this is no secret spot its right next to a trailhead area if you drive even 50 yards past the bathroom youll see it right there
