Norwegian Sky Owner's Suite Tour

- A tour of cabin 9001 on the Norwegian Sky... which is one of four owner's suites at the front end of the ship, featuring a balcony with an amazing view ahead of the ship, and a private Jacuzzi.
I give you a look around this generously-sized suite, and show you what's special about it... from the big balcony, to the comfortable living room, the bar stocked with your favorite alcoholic beverages, the relaxing bedroom, and the TWO bathrooms.
If you're considering booking one of the four owner's suites on the Norwegian Sky, here's an important tip for you: The two on deck 8 have larger balconies and a larger Jacuzzi than the two suites on deck 9. So, if cabin 8001 or 8201 are available, my advice is to book one of those two. Only choose 9001 or 9201 if the other two are not available. This video shows cabin 9001, which is one of the ones with a small Jacuzzi and a small balcony.
This video was shot in October of 2017 and shows the cabin as it existed on that date. Note that if you look at older UA-cam videos of the Norwegian Sky's owner's suites, you will likely see a purple couch which was replaced at some point before our October 2017 cruise. None of the four owner's suites has the purple couch any longer.
Most of the tour was shot with a DJI Osmo image-stabilized video camera.
This guy is gonna make me go on a cruise one day
Maiza Nassime Just do it! Cruising is great and you don't need to book that kind of room to have a great time on a cruise.
People complain about it, but the late 90's styling is part of the charm
Fantastic Cabin Tour! The View from the Balkony is great. Thumbs up.
Omg that is gorgeous!
I agree. This guy makes me want to take a cruise...
LUV The SKY Jim. My favorite of the small NCL ships. Will be on her again July 13th ;)
Can't compare it to The Bliss, but I still LUV her.
I LOVED THIS SHIP I WANNA GO BACK
Wow, that's a lot of pillows.
Great video. May I ask what do you do for a living? Are you in the travel industry? I’d love to hear back from you. Thank you!
I work at a nuclear power plant. I've been there for 25 years, so I get a lot of vacation time... and like to cruise 3-5 times per year.
How It's Made Guy??
That balcony would be so windy
How much is it?
If you hit big waves and it splashes up onto your deck
I’m in the identical room on Oct. 3rd!
13 grand for four of us.
How much?
I stood every where you were
I was I 9001 same room
It was my fav cruise
What you don’t see in the videos it’s windy as hell on the front of the boat
I was surprised that the wind wasn't as much of a problem up front as I thought it would be. There were only a few times when the wind made things nasty on the balcony. You know, sometimes the ship is actually sailing with the wind rather than sailing in to the wind. When the ship is sailing with the wind, or even when the wind is blowing from the sides, it's not bad on that balcony.
I stayed there it wasn’t bad
Outdated bathrooms.....
For sure. The ship was built in 1999, and cruise ships constructed in the last few years certainly have a newer style to them. But between the large room, the private Jacuzzi, and the unlimited alcohol... it was certainly an enjoyable vacation.
I think it is a little ugly
