All those hostile little undermining quips....I guess he's trying to squeeze humour out of the interview but surely it doesn't have to be at the guests expense, does it? No actually it doesn't , it's just him. Oprah's the other extreme, ingratiating and sugery with over sincerity....somewhere between her sticky ickyness and Dave's bile is Craig Ferguson. Wow! An idea springs to mind....a minor epiphany.

Letterman, Oprah, Diane Sawyer, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Barbara Walters, Matt Lauer, and a few other names are among some of the worst primetime/mainstream "reporters" and "interviewers" in American history. If we're going to add others, we can add Piers Morgan and Johnathan Ross. Craig Ferguson was a godsend.
