Put it on a piece of cardboard or something large and flat and move the cardboard rather than the laser itself and you’ll be able to move it super slowly till it lines up
😂reminds me of Tom. We use different laser but similar idea. I’m uprigger. He’s down rigger. Every time he sets the laser he looks up to see it on the ceiling and covers it with his hand but doesn’t know so he moves it a little and repeats. 5 minutes later ha can see the laser. I pull motor point go down the the ground and then see he was 3” off the mark. 😂
I'm not ashamed to admit I'm that guy. most of he guys I've ever laid anything out with has the same struggle. those things can a pain in the ass to do micro adjustment on
@@AddictedtoTools yeah that’s crazy to me as well that they are a hassle. I do a little bit of framing roofing and gutters but mostly framing and drop ceilings and lasers are kind of the standard now super easy and efficient

Ill be 100% honest, ive never used a laser level a day in my life. Tape measure, speed square, combination squares, levels, chalk line, and string line all work perfectly without fail.
Put it on a piece of cardboard or something large and flat and move the cardboard rather than the laser itself and you’ll be able to move it super slowly till it lines up
Yeah but then it’s easily bumbled, not stable
Yep been there done that many times. Was here to suggest putting it on a piece of wood.
That’s me
Builder didn’t include cost for cardboard, have to charge the owner for a variation 💯🔥
This is legit why i went to a 360° laser with a slight adjustment nob on the side 😂😂
The Milwaukee one has one but it’s 600 dollars
@Jon Lehman I use hilti lasers at my company, they run 1500 lol but at least I've never had to move my laser manually like that
@@Glados1080I feel you on that
I've seen some come out recently that have little buttons to help fine tune it without actually moving the unit
Just move the mark to where the laser line is
I don't think you understand why this is done. Or you're trolling
🤔😂🤣🤣
Genius
Milwaukee micro adjustment for the win!! 🥇
If you’re asking “how’s that mate” you’re doing it wrong.
😂😂😅 i thought i wuz just me- i be havin da same struggle like wtf- u tap it ever so slightly an the defree gos soo offset lol👏🏽
I couldn’t watch it all because the accuracy was too painful
The average framer
This is an art
I recently got glasses and am hoping I'll be able to see my lasers better now lmao

This is why I bought the hilti pm 40mg. Got the bottom red dot laser with the fine adjustment knob. Even the idiots can adjust it.
I usually put my laser on end of a board to be super accurate.
Was gonna say the same. My laser is in a nice flat box, I just set it on the box and it's a lot easier to move
That’s why we don’t use the square ones, the round ones have a adjustment knob for stuff like this
I'm not ashamed to admit I'm that guy. most of he guys I've ever laid anything out with has the same struggle. those things can a pain in the ass to do micro adjustment on
Funny thing is I'm both voices in my head
Omg I've never worked with someone that figured out how to move the laser lol... I was always the one to line it up
I always work with those types. Close enough!
Huepar PV11+ Fine tuning Bracket --- %$40 USD. Precision laser alignment in 3 axes.
That used to be me...i now work with that guy
I like to put a piece of plastic under the laser so it rotates easily
How do you find that laser is it any good?
It’s good mate. A little slow as it’s electronic leveling but being able to put it upside down and not calibrate it is great
could probably make a whole geared adjustment base for these things
I've been in construction 15yrs professionally and never use a laser.. thay are more hassle than they're worth.
That’s interesting. What sort of work do you do and why would you say they’re a hassle?
@@AddictedtoTools yeah that’s crazy to me as well that they are a hassle. I do a little bit of framing roofing and gutters but mostly framing and drop ceilings and lasers are kind of the standard now super easy and efficient
100%. Myself and all the other guys I work with and around all use them for heaps of work. Makes some jobs way easier and quicker

Depends on the job never used them sheeting but we did when we did a couple of shopfits for the frames
This one dude didn't understand why you need two marks he just kept saying it's on the mark when it was only on one of them
So it's not just me. Lol😂
Try doing this at 200ft in the day light with just a beeper fucking brutal some times you just look at it to move it a inch
So true 😂
Me..... everyday
Love the fake shoe
😂 you’ve got a good eye
The shoe is real. Although it is empty
@@markkwik4338 you have a better eye
Buy the Bosch and auto base, never have to do that again
That's what happens when you *jump* on the laser...
This isn’t a one guy thing. Once you start moving it over 20’ a little movement is alot at the other side.

Bosch rm2 mount was the end of this issue for me
Is that the new Milwaukee wood block
😅
it is and for 399 its yours. will come in red painting tho.
That's cuz they're using the wrong units
Hey its a me
😂😂😂
💯💯💯💯🤣🤣🤣
Me lmao
Bought for $1.50 ...
Someone needs glasses
Maarrkkkkkkkkkkk
Or is the one guy the one with the block…
Addicted to tools? but you dont own a laser with micro adjust. Pretender.
Bet you he does
Probably had a remote one as well
Do what any trad3s man would and just bodge the thing in a move the mountain 2 mohamed type deal 😅
Even some cheaper ones have the nob to adjust
If your really good u and your tool Partner can make it last 30 to 45 min 😂😂😂
🫣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You're have nob friends

They built the pyramids with simple tools.
Great to hear. Sometimes other tools and equipment can make work easier, more efficient and quicker though. 👍
I usually just lay it right on the mark and it hits the bull’s-eye every time what kind of dumb ass sets it down and tries moving it
