- The MX vs. ATV series has a fairly long history, starting with MX 2002 featuring Ricky Carmichael in 2001 and ATV Offroad Fury in the same year. Both titles were handled by Rainbow Studios along with various partners but the former was published by the original THQ. Meanwhile, the ATV Offroad Fury series was published by Sony on the PlayStation 2 and eventually the PSP.
In 2005, both brands crossed over in MX vs. ATV Unleashed. It would receive three more titles published by THQ before its bankruptcy; Nordic Games would then take on publishing duties for MX vs. ATV Supercross in 2014. After the formation of THQ Nordic, MX vs. ATV All Out would be released in 2018. Now, more than four years later, the series is making a comeback with MX vs. ATV Legends.
It's out on June 28th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC with Rainbow Studios once again at the helm. Let's take a look at 11 things you should know before picking it up. - Ігри

The last really good one I played was Reflex. They've never quite nailed the feeling since then.
Also pop-in and framerate have been questionable in recent titles.
Alive was good
Alive was amazing and even all out isn't a awful mx game by any means, hell I even enjoyed mx vs ATV supercross. If you put a dirt bike in a video game odds are I'll learn the controls and enjoy it lmao

I like the race replay that Untamed and Reflex have. Alive and All Out skipped that. Hope Legends has that feature.

im getting this day one!! i love arcade dirt bike riding games! please come correct with the 2 strokes! The sound has to be on point
Once you get the bike set up correctly the game feels like a mix of Reflex and Alive. 3rd person view feels a little off but in first person this game is something special. It is a bit of a grind to unlock all the bikes and get the hang of the physics but its worth it.

If they would just get back to their roots like off road fury/unleashed, and refine the riding dynamics of reflex/alive than I think the game would be overly successful. Until then though, I’m going to keep playing the classics.
All these new ones they keep pumping out every few years just seem way too much like a cheap arcade game to me. I really hope this one proves me wrong!
It’s not the same people working these games now though. You have to understand coding and programming from developers changes. People make mistakes get fired or find better opportunities in life and the people who made reflex and alive are no longer there. Don’t expect a game to be re-made from people who never made it to begin with.
The positive from this is the developers are taking feed back from the community so if you contact them they’ll listen.
The open world and dynamic weather is the game changer on this I feel.

All the games from 2004 - 2009 were the greats. Reflex still holds up very well to this day with mod support and great physics. The decline however started when Alive was released then after, Supercross Sped up the decline as a whole.
Yes All Out was some what decent but they can never reach their prime as im pretty sure all the old devs left after the bankruptcy they suffered. Lost code, and lost direction the rebuilding of the studio and the game is still not well.
I hope they have a track editor, and a content creator because if this game doesn't it will suffer from longevity hence why the Milestone's Supercross games have a lot of replayabilty and traction even if they are yearly released games.
I have never been able to get into any of these games besides reflex just off the simple facts of the physics

Gonna make a correction for you since you can't even look up a game's devs. MX 2002 was developed by a company called Pacific Coast Power & Light who also did that game's sequel, MX Superfly. After Rainbow took the rights to make MX Unleashed, PCPL went on to work with Disney by making Cars in 2005.
All the digital listings for the Icon Pack say that it's only available for a limited time but I can't find ANY information about how long that time actually is.... Hoping they announce that once the game launches because I'd like to get the Icon Pack but want to wait for it to go on sale

LOL .No. That was a ARCADE game. Us real MX racers/Players want realism and to feel like you are on the bike and have control of it. Not fake tricks 700 ft in the air then landing and no damage.🤣 That is corny as hell.
What choices change the outcome of the career?? I’ve beat the game 3 or 4 times and I’ve always thought it’s the same thing over and over. Love the game but my experience was if you beat career mode, then time trials, free riding and online racing is all that’s left. But maybe I missed some things…
I still play Encore. Hopefully this one will be better when I get it. Encore’s very fun, it’s just got a lot of kinks
This one is really similar to all out, light changes in physics and bikes don’t feel as light which makes bigger lines in Supercross a little more challenging

If the compound isn't the Goat Farm, then it might be Tim Gajser's Tigaland. Thq nordic are based in Vienna, only like a 4-5 hour drive from it.
it would be with someone like highly well know. Tim Gajser, while an amazing rider, isn’t as well known to the casual motocross fan. I definitely don’t think it would be his compound
@@themanstan0785 the compounds of chad reed and rc have been sold, james' sucks, i don't think tomac and roczen have one, and most of the mxgp top guys live in lommel and thus don't have one. so just by elimination, it must be tg243. he is well known tho, and at least inside the top 3 guys on the planet with herlings and tomac.

I always get happy for new mx games but if it still handles like a twitchy, bouncing mess like with All out at least steam has refund option if handling still sucks, which is a shame because some of the Lucas oil tracks were cool just horrible to play.
That's why I've never been able to play any of these games besides reflex cuz of the weird physics

Before you buy this, do not buy this. This game is going to be an epic failure and even the devs know it that’s why they are barely showing off any real gameplay besides some camera cuts. The pure gameplay that somebody just uploaded to UA-cam looks horrible.

At the moment only the improved graphics of the previous mx vs atv games and the map desingn are cool, the game has nothing good.
- Collision problem
- Bike sound is out of sync with rpm
- Bike sound bad (250, 2 stroke sound is horrible)
- Bike sound who cuts off
- Animation jerk and unfinished, (lack of transitions between animations, drivers, vehicles, mud and IA)
- Camera bugs (camera chases with obstacles)
- AI goes straight or falls for respawns, every 10 seconds
- Strange bounce at landing some jumps
- The wheels that fly over the ground or go too far into the ground
- The rear wheel that passes through the mudguard of motorcycles at times
- The pilot who passes through the mudguards of motorcycles
- Unreal engine 4 multiple crash
- Too slippery UTV physics (too many collisions and slippery physics don't help, some races are at the limit of unplayable)
- Unfinished UTV interior camera
- MX physics unfinished
- ATV physics unfinished (there is still a lot of work to do, for the moment flat and without drive feeling)
- No controller mapping
- Need configurable screen resolution
- Make a correct AI
etc...

@@strangerthingsfan5601 based off how it looks, plays, the stiff rider animations, their old schemes and their recent history. It doesn't look good so far they dont want to make an effort to make changes still with their old Egregious DLC Schemes which does not do any favors for the playerbase and the devs. Just stuck in their old ways.
Even though Milestone is bad too, they give tools to players to have a track creator and comtent creator im doubting this game will have any of the sort.
Turning/leaning is still as stiff and clunky looking as ever. Looks like someone in a neck brace trying to lean over, always has. It is now 2022 fix it already, pathetic. It cannot be that hard to make it look more fluid.
OEM refers to “Original Equipment Manufacturer.” So, OEM automotive components are the official, genuine parts produced directly by your vehicle's maker.
OEM does not and has never stood for the actual vehicle you're purchasing. OEM only refers to the parts used from the original manufacturer. Saying there are 36 OEM bikes and vehicles means absolutely nothing.
I beg to differ, I’ve heard real life brands referred to as OEM bikes for ages, and I know I’m not the only one because there’s a community made “OEM Bike Pack” for MX Bikes, and with tens of thousands of downloads I’ve never heard anyone say “OEM bikes doesn’t make sense”.

What comes up parts or specific vehicles for sale? It's illogical to say my OEM vehicle and makes zero sense.
What Is OEM? OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. The OEM is the original producer of a vehicle's components, and so OEM car parts are identical to the parts used in producing a vehicle.

My point was it’s a commonly used term in video games which contain both real life brands and fantasy brands. So no, you wouldn’t go down to the dealership and ask for an OEM Honda, that’s not what I’m saying. But the term has become popular in video games to differentiate between real and fantasy brands. You can argue that it doesn’t make sense logically, but buddy, this is the English language, a lot of it is illogical. The point of language is to convey meaning to others, so if I refer to a bike in a video game as an OEM bike and others understand that I’m referring to real brands as opposed to fantasy brands, the language has served its purpose. Language adapts and takes on new meaning, that’s just how it works.
