Hi, You would reink. However, you can try printing it again if you think there is enough ink still there. This is called a "ghost print." An indicator that it might work is if the firs print seemed too dark.
I find that wearing thin, white, cotton gloves is best for keeping your hands and your work clean when drawing. When using lots of ink I wear thin, black nitrile gloves.
Thanks, that's a great tip. I find I just need to wash my hand ALOT! I manage to get the nitrile gloves dirty. I love the idea of the gloves as you draw, esp with charcoal and graphite. I do use a paper towel to lean my hand on so it never touches the paper.
The ink shown is ink created by Cranfeld ink that can use water for your clean up. It shows that this ink is safe wash. I know etching ink like Charbonnel that are also etching ink but these that are oil based. These inks can also be used, but use a solvent, such as mineral spirits for the clean up. Hope that helps.
