С таким огромным удовольствием смотрю все эти живые выступления ! Очень хорошо.. И даже какая-то шальная нота: - ещё больше в кайф.. Браво Snowy White ! 🎸🌟🔥
Not his best performance on Bird of Paradise, for sure (-; I really love Snowy White, there is something about him that is so utterly relaxed. And his soloing is beautiful. Goldtop sessions 74- 94 is a great album of you come across it
His rightful place is next to SRV, Clapton, Gilmour, Roy Buchanan, Rory Gallagher, Hendrix, Knopfler, Frank Marino. He is not about speed, it is all about feel.
Snowy is a british guitar legend- and we should value him appropriately- but something is missing in this performance..... not enough heaviness or sustain to the lead guitar. He's still a gem.
@matoe66 my friend you have misunderstood my comment - I clearly said he is a legend and that this performance is a little lacking compared to his usual high standard.... same as you have repeated! Im one of his longest serving fans and have ALL of his work!! I have the very original Bird of Paradise which is even better than the popular version. I have met him so many times and he is more than a guitar great, he is a great guy too.
@oris247 Listen to the original studio version not a mobile phone cam recording. He is imho among the best guitar players in the world which surely makes him more than a gem. He played in bands like thin lizzy and live with pink floyd. I seen him performing this song better though.
Someone I have always wanted to meet as he was a friend of a real individual artist who I met back in the very early '70's, before the Band signed. I told him all about my Band 'The Boys', back when I was a very young teenager, they made a hit not long after we met with 'The Boys are Back'. Ask Snowy if that's the name of his Band? I live not far from where I heard he lives, I am in South Somerset. Sad but true, no-one places any 'value' on me at all :( & I was Phil's 'Muse'.
They're doin it, its damn good, actually Brilliant
Snowy and his les paul are beautiful!
Música linda! Brasil 2021.

And Snowy's hero ... Peter Green

i wish i could play as bad as him...(sigh)
2:04, It also happens to me a lot to give these wrong notes, play in the dark or blinding lights, I can't see the right point on the scale...
It could be that he is used to play it in Dm, but somehow the band plays it here in C#m....
❤❤💔💔🖤🖤
Great
Watch out, the Hat on the left moves, really!
But he still sounds great...if only I could sound this bad,,,,sigh!

Lmao ok , I'm not mad at you
