- From Season 7 of Walt Disney's Disneyland Anthology program we have Episode 7: The Warrior's Path which originally aired on December 4th, 1960. Walt Disney's series, Daniel Boone aired in four parts in December 1960 and March 1961. Dewey Martin stars as Daniel Boone with co-stars Richard Banke, Mala Powers, Kevin Corcoran and Brian Corcoran. In Part 1, "The Warrior's Path," Boone, a farmer in North Carolina, talks to a salesman named John Finley about Kentucky, where legend has it that the land is amazingly fertile and the forests are full of game. Finley claims that the dangerous trip to Kentucky can be made on the Warrior's Path, an old Indian trail used by hunting parties, and Daniel decides to move his family there.
These were great shows back then not like today thanks Walt
Sunday evenings in the 1960s were always spent with my family all huddled around our 19' Black & White Ford Philco TV watching 'Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color;' We called it "Walt's Wonderful World of Monochrome!" 😏When I first saw this channel, it brought back so many wonderful and heartfelt family memories that I couldn't help but shed a tear. RIP Mom, Pop, and my sister and brothers. ❤
Good God did this take me back. Thanks so much for this!!
I have been looking for this for years!!! Thank you
Haven't seen this and ''To Chase The Buffalo'' in, oh, at least 22 years! A shame it wasn't given a second chance by the Disney company itself. Thank YOU for giving the show that second chance! Liked and subbed!
To the owner of the channel, thanks for finding this and putting it on UA-cam. I remember my aunt showing me this as a young kid and to see this again is cool
My pleasure! Glad you are enjoying the walk down Disney memory lane!!
You have brought a memory back to me I am 76 and I am thrilled to be able to watch Walt Disney again thank you
Thank you so much for all those wonderful Disney videos. You really brighten my days. Really appreciate what you do.
These were the days growing up one TV a family = all watched Walt Disney, Lassie and Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom on Sunday nights
What great times they were! It even extended into the 80s and early 90s with Eisner. That’s what I grew up with, and looking back on the Walt episodes I’m filled with envy, but appreciation for those who so fondly recall those wonderful Sunday evenings! I hope the company hires a creative CEO and a knowledgeable second hand man/woman that hearkens back to Walt and Roy!
Mutual was a favorite of mine too I'm 65
It was a routine
I remember those days!!!!!!
Don’t forget...Mom got to watch The Lawrence Welk Show first at 7 pm
I really like this movie great. 👍
Amazing
oh man. I'm only in my mid 30's, `but this VHS set was a staple growing up. Look forward to watching again and showing my 3 boys. I wonder why you can't seem to find a disc version anywhere, nor find it on Disney Plus??? they have disney's davy crocket, but not this...
No clue! The kids at Disney+ don’t like good things!
so good!
Dewey Martin...💥💥💥
We lost that amazing guy a few years ago at 94 years old ! George Maharis was cut from the same cloth and he left us a few months ago at 92. Different breed for sure.
@@dennisminer7952 Amazing Dewey Martin lived to be 94 years old. I first learned about him from watching him in a movie called The Big Sky. I didn't read the book of it nor the 2 other books that went with it but the movie is in someways different from what I read on a few websites. Dewey Martin in the movie plays the character Boone Caudill and he is more decent it seems compared to the character in the book.
The Big Sky IS a classic. John Wayne's first film is similar and also a classic with a long haired JW to boot.
I don't remember this Star playing Daniel Boone. I did enjoy it. Scary Indian fights.

I haven't seen this in more years than I can count!!!!! Will you be postng the other three parts???
Thanks for watching! Yes, absolutely! I would’ve posted the next episode today, but had a little technical challenge, but got it all ironed out. I’ll post on Sunday and the remaining two episodes next week!
Thank you!!!!!@@keepingwaltindisney
Thanks so much
❮«36:38»❯ Squire Boone: "Like I said, Rebecca is being well took care of..."
..if I recall my history...Once ole' Daniel came home, from an particularly extended "many moons" Kentuckie "long hunt"... to a new baby girl ...and an embarrassed wife and brother...(they thought him dead)
So that is were l have heard Kentucky Bluegrass 🥰
Play fiddle
Cool
I don't even remember this. Thanks
Glad to share it!!!
🦝..herein D. Boone is accurately depicted with a broad brim Quaker, plainsman style/frontier hat...however it is of Note..Daniel Boone was also depicted in several very famous contemporary paintings, with a fur hunting cap - ala' Fess Parker...
I learn something new, every day! I was under the illusion that the only "DANIEL BOONE" was the 1964-1970 NBC series from 20th Century Fox Television with Fess Parker, but ironies of ironies, all 20th TV and movie assets are now the property of Walt Disney!
Fess was originally going to play Davy Crockett in the series but Walt threatened to sue so they made the same show they were going to make but made it about Daniel Boone. Walt saw Fess at an NBC function, shook his hand and wished him luck.
They made a six season series of Daniel Boone staring Fess Parker
They meaning NBC, not Disney, right?
Cervical spine injury (22:24)
Classic actually factual
no. not really.
Wish Martin would have been cast in the television series instead of Fess Parker. It's a great part for him and he would have brought more humor and virility to the role.
Oh, one that aired on NBC? Seems like Fess was the go to guy for tv westerns. Poor guy got type cast in that sense.
I don't agree Fess Parker is better
Nice I want dis life bt what if I have a tooth ache or fever. No anesthesia. Tough life tough men only. Me??????

🌾🦬Buffalo Trace sez💭I'm familiar with the Cane break ...the Rabbit🐇 and the Crow🐦
....but who and what is "the Monkey"🦧🌲🏔❓
To the glory of stealing land
To the story of steely lad
About theft done to people who were there for thousands of years.
I know I love this movie too....awesome storyline
Theft to indigenous people all over the world happened for millennia
I liked the song on the TV series better along with Fess Parker!.
Casino wrong in that. Only the rocks live forever.
Indians were already fighting each other and stealing each others land for thousands of years too…
Horrible... just horrible when you know the context. Nothing redeemable in this Daniel Story, typical for Disney's empire, like that of the Trump.
Is a shame you don't like this type on entertainment
