You did well. A proper house on wheels. Most pleased with the comfortable and dare I say, roomy, space for a child/-ren and guests to sleep in. Unlike most skoolies, where kids are stowed away like some surplus luggage 😶 Love it. All the best for your future plans. Hopefully we get to share in that part of your adventure...!? Go well.
@@tessasinclair6315 Thank you so much for that! Yes it is very spacious inside! HAHA yeah I have seem some of those "bunks/storage areas" for kids to sleep. 😂 I have been documenting the build on my channel. I will 100% show anything that I have planned for the future!
This is literally the best designed schoolie I've seen. Very well thought out with almost crazy amount of storage and surprising amount of sleeping capacity. Well done.
Dan, this is an excellently designed school bus/Tiny Home. It is rugged enough fot the road, yet if you found a property that you desired between choice locations (and were pulling a small car), it is quite imposing enough to list as your Residence for a given period of time. 😊🎉
He did a great job on the whole bus. It’s one of the better looking buses on the outside that I’ve seen. The electrical system appears to be larger than normal. Thanks to both of you for showing it.
This is the most best bus tour I’ve ever seen nobody has a more perfect half bathroom and shower like that I would most definitely live there. 😂😂😂 🚌🚐🚍🚎
WOW! Talk about a wicked cool home. This guy literally thought of EVERYTHING! There's so many brilliant ideas going on & it's gorgeous. This guy took a vision of a bus you'd dream about & brought it to life. 💛🚉🌻
Very clever remodel. A genius idea to move those pesky stairs to the middle and the door and make that a proper passenger seat. So nice and roomy. Great spare bed loft area! Love the spacious kitchen with so much cabinet space. Large lounge, swivel cab chairs, all great features. The ducting and roof raise are a luxury upgrade. I'd love to know some of your components: water heater, batteries. The bathrooms are so nice. Separate toilet is such a luxury. I did not know you could use floor vinyl for bathroom walls, that is smart. Looks like tile. Vinyl has so much color choices. Extremely functional and roomy interior space. I can see this as an Airbnb rental, vacation home, guest lodging, and fun family camping vehicle. A lot of hard work went into this build. You should be proud. Bravo Dan! Suggestions: Kitchen - If you like to cook, an overhead vent that sucks in the fumes and vents out is very useful. Roof Paint - Look into Durabak. Very hard polyurethane bedliner paint that goes onto any surface. Comes in solid colors as a base coat, then you can customize with metallic or pearl accents using Clear Durabak on top of the painted one. For the roof, a white pearl or metallic will reflect more heat than plain white. Elastomeric paints are short lived and not good. It is an acrylic, same as house paint with some additives. Powder pigments high quality is available from KP pigments at $10 for 25 gms. You need 50 gms per gallon of clear Durabak. You can roller brush (Mohair rollers only) or spray it. It comes in Smooth (greater satin shine) or Textured (matte with crumb rubber in it for non slip surface). I would recommend the smooth one. Xylene is the solvent. Follow instructions on their site.
Thank you!! I appreciate the info on the roof paint. Ill have to look at getting that soon to help with the longevity of the roof. And I don't cook that much but there isn't anything behind the backsplash, so I could add a vent there in the future. A lot of ups and downs when building the bus too. I appreciate all the positive comments. Thank you for that! I do plan on listing it on Airbnb next year once I find a good place to park it.
