Hi Andrew 👋 Just wanted to say I am loving your flossmas videos. 💕 I ADORE Winston's contributions. I love the Santa hat on your intro pic. And just really enjoy everything you share with us. So - thank you! Appreciate you 💕 Give Winston a hug for me pls 😍
Aww thank you so much for saying that! I'm really glad you've been enjoying them and Winston's little parts ha. I'm happy to share this with you all! Happy stitching!
Yep that's a proper snowflake ❄ I can't believe how excited I am to see those tiny projects every day! Thank you Andrew it's become a nice, cozy habit. When I sit down to stitch every night, I prepare everything I need for my stitching, I get a glass of wine, I am ready to relax for the day and I start with your video! It feels so cozy!!! Oh, I almost forgot to mention, what a big progress you did with Donner, I couldn't believe you are almost done in like, what, three or four days? 😍🎄🎅🧵🪡
They are fun to see stitched up! So cute for such a tiny advent! Aww that sound lovely. I'm so glad you've been able to make it a part of your stitching routine and I'm happy we can enjoy this holiday and hobby together! Donner has been coming along nicely! I swear it's the nice block stitching that helps haha
Love watching your mystery stitch evolve. Enjoy your format - not too short, not too long, but just right. Winston is one lucky doggie. Donner really cool.
REally enjoy your flossmas videos and your smiling face, and of course handsome Winston. It so much fun to see the matchbox stitches and the Sal you are doing.
I’m really enjoying watching your Flosstube videos. It’s fun to see each day what you’ve stitched. And I love all the albums you’ve shared. I put it on to work in my classroom. It gives me a boost and helps as we get closer to break. Thank you!
Aww thank you for saying that! I'm so glad you're enjoying the daily updates and progress. I'm glad you're able to listen to the music to keep you motivated as well! I love Christmas music!
LOL....loved when Winston turns around to look at the camera..it's like he wants to make sure the camera is catching his best side. 🐕. Donner is just beautiful. Have Martina's Christmas album....and love it!
Shorter than normal lengths of thread when using whisper thread. Do not pull too tightly. Donner is looking fantastic. Well done getting so much stitched.😊
You've become part of my morning routine this month. Thanks. It's impressive to see how you are able to stick with it each day, Andrew. I enjoy the way you have structured your Flossmas video with a variety of Advent calendars--we get to see a mini finish each day--along with your progress on a couple of bigger projects. You've inspired me to sign up for my first SAL--Stitch for Pride 2025--with Dee's Twenty Stitches. It should be fun trying to keep up. :)
Aww that's great! I'm glad you've been enjoying the videos and getting to celebrate each day together! I'm pretty motivated and dedicated (probably why I also run marathons haha). Glad you're liking this format too. It's worked out pretty well so far. That's great that you'll be doing the Stitch for Pride piece! Last year was a lot of fun to watch that one and I"m sure it will be this year too! Happy stitching!
YES!!! Now THAT’S a SNOWFLAKE!! Love it!! 😊 I’m so lost with the Nordic stitch! I’ve no clue where it’s going. Wow wow wow, you got a lot done on Donner! Whew!! Looking so good!! Hi Winston!! 👋
Martina's version of "Do You Hear What I Hear?" is my absolutely favorite version of that song. You're right that her Christmas album isn't especially country at all but her voice is amazing. I think I still have the original CD I bought back when it came out in '98/99 even though I no longer have an actual CD player 😄
Thank you so much and I'm glad you're enjoying the daily videos! Good news is that I will be doing this through the 25th :). So you can stick around for more if you would like! ha
I came across your channel today and your name “The Runner Stitcher” caught my eye and that you were doing the Evertote SAL. My son is a “runner” and I’m the “stitcher”. I live in Southwestern Ontario in Canada. I am also doing the Evertote SAL and quite enjoying it and so far keeping up on the daily stitches. I keep looking for stitchers who have UA-cam channels and doing the SAL as well. I see you are a dog lover - I too have a Bichon “Timmie” who is 13 years old. I have subscribed to your channel and know I am going to really enjoy watching while I’m stitching!!
Hello and welcome to my channel! That's awesome you've got the "runner" and "stitcher" in your family too! haha. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the Evertote piece as well! It's been fun and a great number of stitches each day that allows progress but not too overwhelming! Aww I bet Timmie is adorable! Thank you for subscribing and I hope you'll enjoy some of my other videos as well. Happy stitching!!
Wow❤Donner is amazing and your progress is really superb. I’m rushing toward a finish. That’s been a long time coming for me which is dog’s declaration from ink circles hoping I can finish my last 12 motives at the bottom before the week is out. I’m sure Winston would appreciate the dogs’s declaration stitch.❤ for a hack on the whisper thread, use one strand of whisper and one strand of regular white DMC makes it a lot easier to work with and still has the whisper look .
Thank you so much! I hope you get the final motifs completed this week! That sounds like a fun stitch! Thank you so much for the tip on whipser thread! I might try that! Thank you!
Hi Andrew! I am really enjoying your Flogmas. I love your Evertote advent, can’t wait to see what you stitch next. I just stitched with the whisper thread for the first time the other day. I just want to give you a heads up. Don’t cut your thread too long because you start to loose the fuzz on the thread and then it looks like you have just one strand of floss on your fabric. Good luck can’t wait to see what you get done on Donner. You are getting him done really fast. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow ❤❤❤❤
Glad you are enjoying this series of videos! Ooh thank you for the tip on Whisper threads. That's very good to know. Happy stitching and see you tomorrow!
Thanks for the great video - you were my companion for lunch 😊 Donner is looking amazing. The SAL is gorgeous. I wonder if motifs by the birds are flowers that come down into a vase.. Have a great day!
Wow! You got an impressive amount of stitching done yesterday! Donner is looking very regal. I'm glad that you shared your thoughts on the clips that you were using. I was eyeing them, but it sounds like it would be better for me to stick with the magnetic cable ties I have been using.
Donner is making me want to start that whole series, which I have, but I also have way too many WIPS already! I love the Christmas Album list, I'm waiting to see if you include a couple of my lesser known favorites.
Thank you! It's a lovely series for sure. But I understand about other WIPs to get to haha. Glad you're enjoying the music! If I don't share the ones you enjoy, you'll have to let me know so I can listen!
lol! I just posted on Instagram this morning that I wonder if/when those torsos are going to get their heads! 😂 It was the treadmill for me this morning, what a messy day here in the Northeast.
Donner looks great! Again, how do you get so much done? I’m impressed! Just an fyi from someone who’s been there…stop using those clips if they are heavy. I’m older than you, but I was doing so much stitching holding a q snap with my left hand, I ended up needing hand surgery due to repetitive motion and the weight of the q snap. I probably would have needed it eventually as it was degenerative and I do a lot of crafts and work on a computer all day…but my dr said stitching in a q snap definitely did me no favors. Do I still stitch in a q snap? Yes. 😂😂. But I take breaks now. I feel like a mom saying that. But I am a mom, so what the heck. I’ll throw it out there.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed his progress. Oh I totally agree. I basically only use a q-snap now if it's in my lowry so I don't have to hold it. Good to know though and thank you for the advice! I'm sorry you had to go through all of that!
Wow, Andrew! You are jammin' on Donner! You are definitely heading toward the finish line.
Thank you Barbara! I'm pushing for it. Really hoping for a beading day on Saturday!

Thank you! I think he's turning out nicely too :)
I always do the Wisper thread last, using shorter lengths.
I'll keep that in mind! Thanks!

Donner is looking amazing.
The SAL is gorgeous. I wonder if motifs by the birds are flowers that come down into a vase..
Have a great day!
Happy to keep you company at lunch! Thanks so much. I was wondering about a vase/flowers today actually!

Great progress on Donner! FYO, Stitching Mommy has a tutorial on how to work with Whisper thread...look for her tutorial Playlist.
Thank you! Oh you're right she does! I remember seeing that at some point. I'll rewatch!
The deer looks great! What other flossmas's are you watching?
Thank you so much! I've been watching Crafting Gaming Jamie and Brom and Morti (spelling?). Also just watching all of the extra holiday type videos!
lol! I just posted on Instagram this morning that I wonder if/when those torsos are going to get their heads! 😂 It was the treadmill for me this morning, what a messy day here in the Northeast.
haha that's my question for sure! Yeah messy and I just figured I'll do it tomorrow :)
