All those leaves remind me of some of HATS sampler patterns. Sometimes there's so much that goes into a border 😅 It's looking great though. Love the little star and your reindeer. Can't wait to see it beaded. It's going be so sparkly. Have fun at Wicked 😊

Wow!! Donner is so close to a finish! I don't know about dashing through the snow but your needle has been dashing through the stitching 😂 So excited to see it all beaded...good luck with that! You probably don't want to know this now you've done it, and without seeing it properly this might not have worked...but one way to keep from stopping and starting is to try running your thread through the back of the stitches on that diagonal line to get from one leaf to the next without it showing. It was fun to hear the reference to the Yule Lads because we learned about them when we were in Iceland!

Winston's little teeth bring me so much joy!!! I had a donut with Christmas sprinkles this morning🤗. I am ready to get back into running and I have only been off for four days😭. I am not feeling the pain anymore but that was how it was until I ran and then it would start back up. The plan was to do a ton of strength training but naturally getting ready for next week's vacation has put a damper on the plans. I am living vicariously through your runs! But the plan is to bring my cross stitch on vacation. I have been motivated more than ever now that I have told everyone that every time they see it, they have to tell me I have made so much progress (even if they are lying). It is hard for me to see progress when I have been working with the same colors since I have started. Side question: for this project, I have been thinking of getting a scroll frame and stand but I have been getting super overwhelmed with the options. Do you have a specific brand you use or have a few to recommend? I am currently using a Q-snap and it works but it is too small for the project and am looking to try something different. Also, that stand you have in the background- does that work for q snaps and scroll frames or one or the other? Thank you😊😊

It does help if you take a before and after picture every couple of days because then you can really see it! I use the Arabeska scroll frames available on Amazon. I absolutely love them. They come in a variety of sizes. I have a lowry stand and yes the frames and qsnap does fit!
Use heart symbol floss for say 12 stitching. There is a mistake where they tell you which day’s floss to use. See off the grid needlearts day 11 if you have questions. Again, heart symbol IS CORRECT.
I do love all the charts too! Oh you know... I've been forgetting to say that huh haha. Oops! It's a 28 count Lugana and I'm stitching 2 over 2. I bought a large piece to put a bunch on and I have another large piece for the future :). Hope that helps!
Curious what you stitched your day 12 in. My day 12 shows the 100 stitches. In day 12s color. But the second part says day 7 color 76 stitches but on pattern symbol is for day 1.
I saw that too! I stitched mine in day 1 since the symbol was the heart. I think on Caroline's channel (off the grid needle arts) she mentioned it in yesterdays video and said it was supposed to be day 1
I'l have to see if I can figure something like that out. I don't really have a great camera setup at the moment for a stitch with me. I'll think about it!
