You are given $1,000,000: What would you buy from here?
15k on the superkart and 985k on life insurance
LMP2 and the gokart and have 275k left
Kart, MX-5 cup and LMP2, the rest for fuel
Either an indycar or nascar and modify the nascar to be street legal
Superkart and f3
Then there's the development costs for F1 and the hypercars 💀
The hypercars aren't so bad. They were specifically made to be cheaper than lmp1 cars
Then there's facility costs to perform that development. There's a reason factory teams still dominate in F1 or similar. Billions in wind tunnels, advanced manufacturing capabilities, attracting big name team leads, etc.
Hell, Lewis' contract alone gobbles up 1-2 thirds of a whole budget cap's worth
@@K3b1bisLtu Still though 10 million
@Jesko. you're right, that is just to run one car for a season. To run the full team with development, wages, and all of that could be up to 10x more.
You should do a flat out video to see who could take the chicane at Watkins Glen Int’l flat out
Your ideas for these videos are fantastic
I assumed LMH and F1 wouldn't be too far apart, considering the level of engineering and tech in both are fairly comparable, well in respect of the major LMH factory teams like Toyota, Peugeot and Ferrari at least. And the Ferrari 499P Modificata and Isotto Tipo 6 Pista are over £4.0m, so I'd assume the racing versions are even more. I know the yearly development cost caps mean Hypercar teams spend massively less than F1 though.

I would actually say (as someone with experience) most Formula Vee's are $12,000 or less... sometimes $15,000 but that's when you start getting complaints. The FV community doesn't like when people sell for $20,000+ since 90% of the cars are used and are very old, and they are very hardcore on preserving the series and making it grow so they want to keep it as affordable as possible.
With a single Stock Car Brazil vehicle at $350 thousand, this would mean that more or less the entire GDP of the country is concentrated in its racing league :D
You d wish a race kart is only 5 k💀
I will say racing a kart is far cheaper than a full size car. I just did my first track day in a Chrysler Crossfire and I LOVED IT! But it did cost me probably 5 or 6x the amount for a single kart weekend... And I race two karts.
Didn’t GT3 used to be 450-500k at one point? Now it’s 600k??
Some can be one million, like the 992 GTR and the 296
Inflation… and development. Back then GT3 cars were pretty much just the road chassis made from carbon fibre with a few canards and a big wing added… today they have added extensive aerodynamics etc… it‘s the same with NASCAR cup, in the early 2000s those cars would cost less than 100 grand… they were just an aluminium hull, a big V8, a gearbox and steering wheel… today they have all the safety features and also aerodynamic elements added
Running a race weekend is bad. To run a season is crazy for any of these vehicles.
Bang for buck definitely goes to the Super Kart. The Turismo Carretera however is an absolute weapon as well.
Amazing idea Bro!!💪💪
The NASCAR México car has a coast of $100,000
12 mill for a F1 car is ridiculous considering cars were almost as fast with heavy restrictions in the 2004 for a fraction of the price.
F1’s in the 2000’s were as expensive back then.
Budgets for Ferrari and Toyota were already in the $300M.
@@maverickjingle5432 ok fair enough, but considering there are cheaper ways of ataining F1 speeds. 12mill is a lot when a million will get you there faster.
@@VykronianF1 yeah obviously. But it’s supposedly the pinacle of racing. Absurd amount of money is poured into development. Top teams would probably spend 50% more if there was no cap just to extract a few 0.01s per lap
Fun: Priceless
For everything else, there’s MasterCard.
Well..don't say "Mastercard" anywhere close to the former Lola Team, I don't think they will like it.
@@DerpSherman what happened to our favorite Gr.C chassis maker?
@@starmaster488lol9 The Lola-Mastercard F1 team, while Lola needed more time to develop their car and engine(at least 1 more year),Mastercard hurried up the things and Lola had to run with an underpowered engine and a barely developed chasis.
The result: the times at the opening round were an absolute disaster in the only lap they made, with the whole operation being completely canceled after this. (and the drivers had no news of this until the second round of the season, where they appeared at the track and the team was already disbanded).
@@DerpSherman ah i see. kk
NASCAR cars seem cheap but then you remember the repair bills...
Can you make video with all bolide WEC
rally is so doomed with the price of the main class cars
Is this just the car or per season???
never knew GT2 is more expensive than GT3 although it is a lower category (and also GTE as compared to Super GT GT500 which is more purpose-built than GTE's modified road-car nature)
I did want to see a race between all those vehicles 🥲
Where are you getting the prices from? I swear you can find a NASCAR truck or Arca car for cheaper than in the vid.
Saying a Supercar costs $450k is highly highly optimistic. Costs have come down a little but when they were rushing to boils the new Gen3s they were up near a million
Both karts, Formula Vee, Formula ford, gt3 and supercar
I would have liked to see the Nascar Mexico, there are all the Nascar divisions and categories except the Mexican series, as well as some categories from that country. 😢
Nascar vs Formula 1 vs Indy on Daytona 5 laps
F-1=DNF bc it would break
Indy=win bc speed
NASCAR=2nd
Formula VEEEEEEEEEEE
$90K for a Miata is insane💀
Esse vídeo é legal
Garage 56 Camaro
The price difference between a legends car and Aussie Racing Car…
Mate you're out of your mind most Formula Vee cars dont cost more than 25k to do a whole season most can be bought for like 5
Cross karts?
Unexpected Lamborghini Super Trofeo Livery..
None of them. For @1.000.000 I would open a Bizzarrini car workshop and reproduce authentic Bizzarrini 5300 GT Strada models én masse.
Long live 60s sport cars - endless soul❤
100% not worth it lmao
Special Stage Route X
Great idea . And in Argentina I think that the super TC2000 have the same or higher value than the TC because they are much more modern cars in everything (vehicles, technology used and because they have official teams)
Next : Turismo Nacional clase 2 & Clase 3 vs Super TC2000 vs Stock Car vs BTCC vs Renault clio cup vs TCR vs ETCR ( all touring cars )
To me the GT500 cars has the best performance for what the cars are worth compared to other motorsport series
Textbook sleepers!
@@THEWINDTUNNEL As proven in your Ultimate Motorsport Race video the GT500 car was able to keep up against a Le Mans Hypercar
Bruh 5,000 probably wont even get you a used 125cc kart. Plus you have to account for whether or not its a single like an x30 or as 125cc shifter. You'll be lucky to get just the rolling kart chassis for 5k...
Where is lmp1 cars?
Lmp1 has been replaced by Hypercars in all major series
Some mistakes in this video. A racing kart is closer to 12k brand new.
A Porsche cup is far more expensive too.
Depends on the kart, this one doesn't even have gears. You can check the Cup car's price on Porsche's web.
@@THEWINDTUNNEL even a proper OK-N is far more than 5k brand new.
Bare minimum 8k but your closer to 10k for competitive material.
As for the Porsche cup one of my friends is a mechanic for a team competing in the Porsche super cup series. It’s at least 50k more expensive.
Gt3
El tc papaaa
you forgot Formula Drift, and Pro Mods.
and formula X, and like 8 billion other formula classes.
and GT1
A lot of these prices aren’t right
Rally2 cars cost 100k not 300k
A Rally4 is around 100k but a Rally3 or a Rally3 are way more expensive. x.com/AnttiL_WRC/status/1743217310138060975
@@THEWINDTUNNEL must be the newer ones, my mistake. The old ones known as r5 are 100k I think
A Rally2 car is basically the same car as the Rally1, just without the hybrid system and slightly less powerfull combustion engine. For example, the Fiesta R2 has ~300hp with the same gearbox and all wheel drive system as the R1
