    I'm so happy for your success in this area. It's become well documented that eating processed food leads to overeating about 500 calories a day... approximately a pound a week. You are doing great and there's someone in your audience who needs to hear this.

    Beautiful spot to relax and think. I am so glad to see you taking care of yourself at a lot earlier age than I did. It took me until in my 60's. It is all about making healthier choices. Dont think we have to totally understand it. As we learn what our body needs, it gets easier. So proud of you girl. You have made a lot of positive changes and it shows in your body and mental health. Processed food is going to kill us all. Bless your sweet family.

    I’m so Proud of you. I hurt my back 8 years ago and can’t work since then. Some days I freeze my husband tells me to get up and move around. But I freeze because I’m hurting and don’t feel like moving around much. I pray for God to please let me move around more. And when it’s warm outside I go outside and walk around the yard. And yes I feel some better. But when it’s cold and rainy I will be hurting worse and just lay around. I’m so ready for warmer weather. I drink coke cola a good bit and really want to get off of it and drink more water. I love watching your videos ❤❤❤

    I have heard from several people when they just focus on their mental health, their weight falls off. Maybe the secret is to not think of food as weight loss, think of it as food being fuel. I’ve seen your old videos, I don’t notice the weight. I notice your joy.
    I think you are doing great. Keep it up

    I understand why it is hard to tell us what food you eat that has helped you lose the weight. As you have been working on healing yourself, I think it may have also helped with relieving some of the stress you were dealing with. I know stress makes us hold on to weight. I'm working on trying to figure out my "thing". I haven't been able to get chamomile to grow, but I haven't had much luck. I do every night make a tea with lemon balm, mint and lavender. It really helps. Some of the other things you talked about, some I've heard of, like the roses, but not the cherry stuff. I'm just glad you found what works for you. I think it is also because you have been eating more foods without all the junk in them. The real stuff has to be better for you and your body can actually digest it better. I'm cheering you on!

    Changing from eating all the processed food to homemade food does change everything!!! I think those foods poison us on many levels, so to me that makes perfect since what your saying. I cut out fake sweetners, and I'm diabetic. I started using coconut sugar, honey, maple syrup... I've cut My diabetic meds in half... your doing great!! I'm proud of you!!❤

    I’m so happy for you! Mental health is so so so important and never talked about enough. We’re getting better as a society but it’s still such a stigmatic topic. I’m glad to hear that Luke supports you in your journey. I think that God heard your heart cry. You didn’t recognize it but your heart was asking God for help and he reached down and wrapped His arms around you and gave you the tools to change your heart, mind and body. God is so good!!! Something you said that really stuck with me “I just wanted to do something to keep me on this earth longer” that’s why you’ve been successful. You found the root of what was causing your weight gain and you worked on it. The rest follows! Blessings from south TX ❤

    I would love to see more videos like this and see other healthy food ideas and tips. I started my weight loss journey this year…I lost 50 pounds when I was 30 almost 10 yrs ago by exercising and portion control but when Covid hit I got depressed and stressed because I worked at the hospital and was always just worried about bringing something home…so I would eat and stay in my room when not at work 😅 but thank you 🙏🏼 me or my family never got Covid nor had the vaccines “only I had to do to working in healthcare” but now that I’m almost 40 and tried to loose 25 pounds last year I noticed it seemed harder for me to stay on track and loose it quicker 😢 but this year I’m giving it all I can to try and loose the 25+ and some extra if possible 😊. Thank you for sharing.

    Congrats! I also have lost weight because I knew I would just feel better. I went from 235 to 135. That was about 8 years ago. My Dr. said 135 was too light for me. I have maintained at of between 145-155. My big trick was to downsize the size of my plate. My husband noticed, and we both use the 8 inch plates for dinner. He lost weight too. We always think moderation not deprivation. Luv you! You do you! God is on your side.

Par boil it with a piece of lemon for 8 minutes then roast with your seasonings. I like parm and garlic. It takes that pungent taste right out of the cauliflower. I use a quarter of of the lemon probably. Depends on the amount of cauliflower. Thanks for all the inspiration recipes!

I have reversed diabetes, no more brain fog, no more inflammation, so many great things have happened to my body. Almost all foods, fruits, vegetables give off oxalates which cause inflammation. So doing the inlimination diet for 90 days is the key. Great job on your weight loss. God bless you and your family!!

Watching you is a good way to get ideas, for cooking, seasoning, etc and leaning more towards protein instead of other foods. even if you took a pill or had surgery it doesn't matter, if it helps people to lose weight why is that such a bad thing? I think it sis because those who judge are just unhappy. How anyone loses weight is their business (within reason obviously, starving is never ok) and not sure why some seem to think it effects them if you lost your weight differently than what they think one should.. I am struggling to lose weight, but I am extremely happy to see others get it under control and I would never try and take away their triumphs because I am not there yet.. people need to just be happy for others no matter what their own struggle is,, it really is that simple and easy..

    Well Tamara, you look fantastic! I’m so glad you didn’t have surgery, take pills, and I’m assuming no injections either? You didn’t mention that but some may wonder. You’ll have long term weight loss/maintenance success by better food choices and the way you’re doing it, surgery & drug free, is definitely working for you. I have loved seeing your transition and hopefully Luke is doing well with his, as well. You two are so young but not feeling your best really ages a person. I had a weight issue and lost mine with Keto. I still follow it but not as strict since I’m on maintenance.

    How has the magnesium spray worked for you and how do you use it? How often?

    • @SouthernWifeEverydayLife
      @SouthernWifeEverydayLife  7 місяців тому +1

      I use it every night to help me sleep. Spray it on my legs and feet. I also use it as a natural deodorant. Spray it on my back/neck if I’m stressed or have a headache! I use it daily! Multiple times daily!

    What herbal do you take for a headache?

    • @SouthernWifeEverydayLife
      @SouthernWifeEverydayLife  7 місяців тому +1

      It all depends on what kind of headache I have. I honestly don’t get them often anymore. Once every few months now! I used to live with them! Even migraines.
      I can make a tea blend with many herbs listed in this link: farmhouselilies.com/herbal-migraine-relief/
      I also use magnesium for headaches. I spray it on my back/neck.
      I’ve also made a rub I can apply where my headache is. Massage it in and it works good! Coconut oil with lavender, peppermint and eucalyptus essential oils. This is only for adults since the 2 of the oils aren’t kid friendly! I hope this helps! ❤️

    Rob: I loved the video and I love how you focused on your mental health. I am glad eating better and the exercise has made you lose the weight without even thinking about it. I have started eating better myself and it because of you my amazing friend. My mind told me if you can eat better and be on a mental health journey I can too. My metal issues came from my mom when she had a heart attack back in 2021 and I had to live with her for 7 months and take care of her. it took a toll on me and I used to conform my self with food and eat too much. Since I have started on my journey I have lost 30 kb and my highest weight was 280 lbs. I cut way back on my portions and I eat mostly home cooked meals. 🙂❤️💙💜🧩🍒🦋
