Yes dude glad you did this! You’re so attentive to the music man I love it. ETID are legends and been around for more than 20 years, influencing bands like Polaris, Knocked Loose and way more. Thanks for exposing them to a newer audience
Every Time I Die is the best band on the planet. Thank you for doing this video. These guys do not get the recognition they deserve. Especially for how long they've been around. And yes, Keith Buckley is a fantastic lyricist. I don't think anyone is better. 🤘🏼
The opening vocal to sexsexsex is "come as you are" by Nirvana, that's why you thought it sounded so familiar. There's even a part of black sabbath by black sabbath in this song.
YES. so stoked for this. This album has been on constant repeat, possibly my AOTY. Edit: pls pls pls check out Bad Bite by ‘68. You seemed to like the song featuring Josh!!
When he said that post boredom was the only ETID song he’s ever heard I knew he was not prepared for this album. Punch you in the face nonstop is the correct diagnosis.
Amazing album 🙌🏻 I mean not too surprising as they never miss 🤙🏻 Top reaction too, all about the attention to Keith’s lyrics, he’s definitely known for them!
This was also my first real ETID album experience. I'd heard of them and checked out songs in the past, but nothing really clicked the way this album did. Easily a top 5 AOTY for me
This album is a hell of an intro for you! Their material has been phenomenal from the first release but consistently gets better. Just when you start to wonder how they can top an album, they manage to do it with the following album.
@@Roguenjosh now that’s dedicated hahah keep up the great work! Also. How can I get you to do a reaction?? Never had one done yet from anyone. Haha. Cheers!
Been into this band since 2000 when I first found them. Keith is my favorite vocalist and will probably never change. If you like this CD, I highly recommend Low Teens as well. Had about this same vibe, but I love all their records.
This album is such a good time, I haven't listened to an album so many times over in ages. You can't listen to this and say it lacks riffs, that's for sure!
ETID sound to me like mashing together early Converge and At The Drive-In's Relationship of Command with the playful lunacy of vintage Nomeansno. And if you aren't familiar with that last band, I highly recommend looking up their 1989 album "Wrong". One of the most slept on albums in history. It should be huge.
Worth noting, this album was recorded and wrapped up in early 2020 and many of the songs were 2 years old by the time they released them. Knowing that these lyrics were written before Covid was a full on pandemic and before all the rioting and unrest in the US started, it gives me a lump in my throat. Absolutely, fucking brilliant. Check out their album Low Teens front to back. Life altering lyrics in that one, too. As far as workout tracks… shuffle their entire discography, it won’t miss
What's great about ETID is that I've heard (I think) every song, and my reaction to the opening of "Dark Distance" was exactly the same. I think it's universal, you HAVE to make that face. It's like "Did he just say that? Did he say THAT? OH yeah." Then the guitars come in. Too good.
It's so funny seeing your live audience say they sound like this band and that... These dudes have been rocking out for like a quarter of a century... lol!
Been an ETID fan since I first heard Hot Damn and this album is taking a while for me to get into. Really lacks the explosiveness that was present on From Parts Unknown and Low Teens.
I agree FPU was heavy/fast/pissed as hell but honestly, in terms of "explosiveness", this one has got so much more of it than low teens (which wore heavier in terms of lyrics I find but definetely not musicwise). That's just my feeling, I starter ETID with low teens, it was great but little by little I realise it's my least favorite of the past 4 albums and Radical directly jumped at number 1 lol

Thanks so much man! I really feel like I missed out by not listening to these guys more!
I LOVE THIS BAND🔥
Birb!
I found this band when i was like 17. I’m 34 now and I’m thankful for the contribution they’ve had on my life. More than i can say in words.
Yeah I’m upset I missed out until now
@@Roguenjosh but so much to look forward too

Thanks adam!!
Cough, cough, Currents is the greatest band in the world! Lol. We all got our favorites
I can help but fuckin love seeing people love the music as much as i did first hearing it. This album is beyond.
the closest I can get to reliving the experience of the first listen through

my god youve got alot of top tier albums to listen to, every album is so good and different its insane, all the way back to like 1999 lol

Loving this album
Planet shit reminds me of something you’d find on Tony Hawks Pro Skater haha. Such a fun track. Cheers!
I’m a massive tony hawks fan, I even liked 5! 😂

I'm back again - this is my actual favorite video on youtube
That makes me very happy
I have another 60 full album videos on Patreon, maybe go see if there’s anything you want to see there?

Riffs for days!!
Been listening to ETiD since 2003 and have never been disappointed by an album. Solid band all around. Great reaction 👍
Dude check out their whole catalog, they're my favorite band. Everything they touch is gold!
I’d believe it!

Sweet!
ETID just keep getting better and better. This album is legend. Enjoyed the video.

Radical dude, I met these guys back in the day. Saw them live a couple of times. Intense show🤟🏻
I would imagine so!!
Buffalo NY represent!! Easily the AOTY but that's the case any year ETID drop a new record
The only reason this isn't immediately AOTY for me is because I'm also a huge fan of Frontierer
@@ryan1840 Love that record too. It gives me classic mathcore vibes and I absolutely love it

These riffs are giving me whiplash... Gold
Keith is a fucking MADMAN
Absolutely sick vocals. Muh mans doesn't get enough cred imo
27:55 those moments are just......pure love , fuck !!!!!!!

This album literally just fucking rocks, all the way through all different ways. lyrics, musicianship, just fucking slaps.
Manchester Orchestra is the greatest, the compilation with ETID made "thing with feathers" my favorite song this year.
What a radical album! This or Eidola may be AOTY for me
It’s non stop!!
Dude, listen to the whole etid discography.
@27.59 the face 😂 I did the same, it’s an absolute gut punch
@46:01 I've been waiting months to get my first etid tattoo because there are too many lyrics to choose from
What did you settle on?
this last album is f insane
AOTY for me
Amazing album!
People saying they have alpha wolf vibes. ETID has been here since like 2001 😂
Checkout Galneryus - Force of Courage!
Sounds very metal!
Bummer that they broke up only months after this lol
Please go back and react to floater and ebolarama. Also map change
Well alright!
this is the 100th time ive watched this
They remind me so much of the Band Schizoid LLoyd
