"Now stay with me on this.." Jason my man, I've been with you on this since before you made that first video 😂 I've always thought this would be a cool idea
With the sharp blade of the chisel this could very well be classified as a lethal weapon and hand tool. Like the likes of them and I agree the may be hard to use for delicately woodworking but it is a great idea. I like thinking out of the box and this project fits that to a tee.
Beautifully remastered. I enjoyed the original video as well as this one. Also, for the record, becauce of your delivery, I actually watch all of your advertiser clips as well. It's always fun and appreciated.
I absolutely detest advertisements! we are constantly bombarded with them everywhere we look! most of them are forced on us and have little to no meaning in our daily life's! however, now and again we come across a cool video from a cool guy who makes really cool things! with a touch of class some adverts are tolerable. Thank you, Mr Bourbon Moth Woodworking Man, Thank you so much for making a rainy day more enjoyable and tolerable.
Interesting gadget. It reminds me of the US Army's Model 1917 Trench Knife that had a fighting knife's blade with a literal brass-knuckles handle. These were intended for WW1, but became more famous when used by parachute troops in WW2 in Europe. Only a few were used, but they caught the imagination of military collectors and reenactors.
I remember the first video. Very good though, Jason. Your office looks more like a liquor store. Weller is my favorite! 😂 You should visit where I live... Buffalo Trace distillery is 30 min from here.
In Denmark, we call them "knuckle iron", regardless of the material, and they are VERY much illegal. Noone, not even the police, can even own a pair of "knuckles"..... The combo idea seems rather stupid, but you, Jason, can pull it off to make it into a nice video 👍👍.
Hi Jason, Nicely reworked the old video, but I would have liked to see something new from your transition workshop. Greetings from Hanover, Lower Saxony, Germany. Werner
As a person who has been to the hospital after getting his gloves spun up in a lathe (right, don't use gloves) your router usage makes me nervous. I can't help feel my fingertips getting zinged being that close. I'm sure there's a way to read wood to not have it zing on you, but I haven't acquired that skillset yet.
Rubio, the preferred finish of all UA-cam woodworkers! Rest of us cannot afford it. 😅
Thanks for putting the sponsor at the end of the video. I will watch it out of courtesy.

Would have been really cool if the maple between the walnut was replaced with actual brass.
Really cool chisel

That’s one sick brass knuckle chisel! Know what else it could be awesome as… a stick shift handle. Ooh, yea baby!
YAY! Saturday morning Bourbon Moth Woodworking to start the day.

Knuckle duster chisel!!
I like the wood choice for the brass knuckles.
Gotta say I enjoy working more the days it rains. The sunny ones I want to be off roading.
I make brass knuckle ak grips. Not very practical, but the customers love them.
Never clicked out of Facebook faster. Another Bourbon Moth Video!
They look like trench knives. Cool design
Way to sneak in a little Orange and Green cameo there. It actually sounded pretty solid. Well done lad!
To be useful, the chisel should be 90 degrees to the handle. 😊😊😊
I think Travis Willingham would be VERY interested to see this video.
Ah, the apprentice ergonomic chisel. Safety and good grip for hacking away at wood.

Took me a lil longer cause we are camping with no signal but woohoo Saturday morning bourbon moth

Nice 'tool'! Just possession of this in my workshop would probably get me a jail sentence in the UK!
As a long time viewer and podcast listener, I hope this experiment goes well 😂
Perfect weapons for a Woodworker Mutant Ninja Turtle...
😂😂😂😂
Waiting for the next generation of Bourbon blade with a different steel.
I remember the first video. Very good though, Jason. Your office looks more like a liquor store. Weller is my favorite! 😂 You should visit where I live... Buffalo Trace distillery is 30 min from here.
Knuckle dusters, since they're made from wood. Thank me later.
That's a Trench Chisel.
I actually watched the chisel video a few days ago. For the second time 😅
Great
Damn I’d rather have the brass knuckle version 💁🏻♂️
You sure do have a lot of bottles of bourbon😂😂

Chisel + knuckle duster
= Chisel knuckle duster
= Chuckle dusters
You're welcome
Brass Nissel. Or maybe Chuckle?
Speaking of the Bourbon Blade, when should I expect that to arrive? Has the second batch started shipping?
With not being made of brass, they'd just be called knuckle dusters
Forbidden Bajadera
"Knuckle dusters" is the material agnostic term.
You see kids, Chris Farley was a comedian in the 90's and he's been dead for almost 30 years. Very topical stuff there, Bourbon Moth guy.
Hi Jason,
Nicely reworked the old video, but I would have liked to see something new from your transition workshop.

Werner
Actually, walknuckles sounds pretty good to me.
Reruns?! 😂
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Called a Knuckle Duster in the UK...
How about Walnuckles™ 🙂
Ahhhh we are doing remasterd voiceovers now… hmm a fo effort but i will watch one of the “how to make a boat” video’s again :)
so you planed all the wood away from an inch to like 1/4?
So, was this the origin of the Bourbon Blade?
So you made a WW1 style trench chisel.
What is that? A chicken coop?
“Entirely by hand” - apart from only using powered tools in the making? : )
You didn't use your patent glue spreader (finger). So I assume you learned something from Christian in Germany 😂
More like 5-6 whistle
Wal-knuckles?
Not really brass knuckles, more of a trench knife, or a trench chisel.
I was wondering why you just didn’t use your shaper origin?
So disappointed you didn't name a chisel/knuckles...... Chuckles

Why not call them “wal-knuckles”?
Immediately stops video and hunts down original
patent, not copyright
Not understanding the point of this one. Bizarre idea
FAIR-YOOL, not FAIR-UHL
Depends on where you live. “Feh-ruhl” in the US and “feh-rool” in the UK. Just like plenty of other words.
Must be running out of ideas lol. 10 min video 👎
Meh…
