That is not just getting inflation down that is deflation even keeping inflation to 2.7% is going to be impossible when you are talking about raising taxes /tarrifs on goods. It is going to be impossible when you are going back to congress to want funding to build the largest wall on the planet and deport millions of your low cost work force. Biden getting a 9.1 % inflation down to 2.7 was difficult. Trump will struggle to keep it at that rate let alone get it lower.
