TIP FROM A MOM: do not let yourself get frustrated. It’s honestly SO easy to feel overwhelmed having a baby because it’s HARD work. That is what I regret most about when my daughter was first born was that I was never 110% “in the moment”. Nights when she was up all night because she couldn’t sleep, I never let myself fully sit there and enjoy the cuddles, I just thought “I can’t wait until I get a full night of sleep”. And now that she’s almost 4 and so independent and so energetic, she doesn’t want to cuddle she just wants to play. There’s so many things I didn’t fully appreciate - nap times, getting to hold and bottle feed her, getting to hold a small baby all the time, how tiny her hands were, even changing diapers. All the things that she’s now outgrown, I miss so much and wish I could just go back and do it over again and make myself not under appreciate the time I had when she was an infant. You’ll hear this 1000 times, but they grow up SOOO fast, so don’t let yourself get overwhelmed and enjoy ever single moment you have because soon they’ll be grown and you won’t have those special moments anymore and you’ll miss them - trust me.
Mallori McMaine it's so hard not to get overwhelmed. After all 3 of my babies were born, I had a realllllly hard time... I felt like crap because I would just cry and cry when they wouldn't sleep. When you're sleep deprived, it's insanely difficult to control your emotions. I have a 4 year old, 2 year old, and 4 month old... I feel like a bad mom now lol.
Hey what if growth works like
I give u a baby for one day then the next it grows by one year so by the 5 day u already miss it being small and then it turns back to a baby where u can enjoy because this way, u will learn how to appreciate the times more, so when u got ur wish of Turing back time, u would live in the moment and enjoy it.😉
