- Merry Christmas! A time of year to open presents, stuff our faces, and much more importantly celebrate the incarnation. God becoming man. Jesus entering our midst. The leap from God to man far surpasses the (hypothetical) leap from you as a human to a worm. Think about that. And thank God.

Lord, my Creator in every second of my life, please, please make me like a worm to you... Please make me remember that You give me every breath of my life and if You did not want me on this earth, I would cease to exist immediately. Please don't let me waste this Gift from You.
This is my most favorite time of year. Spending more quiet time with Jesus...drawing closer to Him each day. Thank you for explaining how God can love us even in the humblest stable of our lives. A very blessed and peaceful Christmas to you Father.
Wonderful Father! Something I reflect upon daily. Holy Communion, the previsión of Heaven on Earth. I’m in heaven after receiving Him, as my drop is sunk in his Ocean of love. Yet I’m still here, amazing. Can’t understand why 99% of mass goers , even daily mass goers are out the gap at Warp speed after Mass, two, three minutes after receiving Him. Could they not stay and offer thanks? I pray the Holy Spirit will open our hearts and minds.

Fr Columba the outpouring of love you have for your listeners gives so much joy. I absolutely enjoyed listening to this video tonight and understanding Christmas in a more meaningful way. I imagined St Joseph making the stable comfortable for Mary and as soon as Jesus was born the love they had for their little boy. The Holy Eucharist is so wonderful because Jesus comes directly into our hearts and gives us graces we need to help us to grow in our faith. I will say a special prayer for you at Mass this Christmas and when I visit the crib I will remember what you said and smile! Happy Christmas Fr Columba 🎄

Bethlehem is appropriately a high elevation, near God.
When a man was going from Jerusalem to Jericho he was descending from the mountains (near God) to a low point (sin) and he got attacked (by temptation) and yielded to it and got ruined. The good Samaritan (figuratively Christ) tended to him with compassion.
Bethlehem is 2,500 ft above sea level and higher in elevation than Jerusalem. The Jericho near the dead sea is -846 ft below sea level.

Hello, Father. I have a question about dreams because for the past few days ,I've been having dreams about a priest who tells me that I need to take care of the sick to complete the will of God for my life.Could that be a sign from God or just part of my imagination?
Could be something or could be nothing. Look for multiple confirmations of same thing from different people. Consider if you have a heart for such a thing and the opportunity. One dream a vocation does not make. Multiple confirmations and open doors and your own desires and abilities are the sort of thing you are looking for. Discuss with your priest. God bless you.
