I love the ‘60s a lot. His ‘60s voice hovered beautifully between his ‘50s ‘young’ voice (still incredible, though) and his later, amazingly rich, polished ‘70s voice. To me, the ‘60s Elvis is magical.
glad you waited for the “ooh” at the end I was hoping you would! his voice between 1960 and “64 was Elvis at his absolute best vocally all the songs from this album and GI Blues are just magical because of that early 60’s voice it was so different to any other period in his career the highs and lows when needed the powerful operatic highs when needed in all those songs but displayed in particular in Surrender his vocals in that song is truly amazing! your analysis is spot on I do enjoy your reviews you think the way I do keep it up !
Rene good choice of song to react to. His voice is very smooth but gritty at times. Thats what I love about Elvis always a mixture never the same boring tone like other singers. Thanks Rene take care
I’m new to this but I love the look on your face when Elvis sings you make me smile. I’m 70 and have been an Elvis fan since I was 8. Love him. Thank you. ❤ Australia ❤
I absolutely Love Elvis' Music! I listen to Elvis Everyday! I have been an Elvis fan for 64 years! There was and is no other Entertainer like him!! Gorgeous Man, Beautiful Voice, His Charisma, His Generous Heart, etc. Elvis had Everything! ❤❤️🔥💖💞!
Brilliant reaction to a fun and classic Elvis tune! You earned a SUB from me!!! You brought up a seldom talked about topic about Elvis. And you are right. Elvis LOVED to record in studio. HE ALWAYS brought his A Game. He is the best selling music artist in recorded history for MANY reasons.
I love this song! Thank you for sharing many people agree that he peaked between 60 and 63. His voice was beautiful and sexy in those periods. However, I embrace all 50 voices. The Sun records are excellent, but, for me I prefer his later voice and material, just my opinion. I will admit I am not fond of his high baritone -tennor IMO
I love that song so much! You need to see the Shuffle Dance to that. Well, I told you about taking our daughter to Memphis and saw a lemo pulling into Graceland. Another true story for you. I saw Johnny Cash and Elvis live!!! My dad heard they were stopping in a little club called Bob Kings in Sedgewick, Arkansas. Well my dad took me. My sister was almost 7 years old; and my little brother was not born yet. Dad really went to see Johnny Cash, but Elvis played first. So dad put me on his shoulders and I saw them. Bad thing was I was 18 months old and don’t remember !😢😜
@@SandraMarkham-mq7hstoo bad you was to young, but what an amazing story. As I said before I appreciate it so much that people who have actually seen him, want to share their stories. Such a treasure! Thank you 🙏
@@mandyheath1793 he did this song live actually. It was a benefit concert in Pearl Harbor for the USS Arizona, I believe in 1961. You can look that up, but the sound quality is not that great.
A brilliant song so underrated Elvis Presley the greatest entertainer the world will ever know
I love this song!! I really enjoyed this. He's the G.O.A.T.!!!!
One of my favorite Elvis songs. Thanks.
Mine too.
