Looks great! If you laminate with that pl3 on the strips its tough as hell when it dries. I used 1.5 inch strips of 1\4 ply and 2.5 inch where the two pieces of 1\4 ply come together. ☺
Hey David I have to ask you when cold weather hits when I’m back in Iowa I work in my attached garage at my house and my wife makes me take all my clothes off in my garage because she is so tired of me carrying all the sawdust and dirt in her house LOL I show her your videos and I tell her I’ll bet Dave doesn’t have to strip down in his garage I don’t blame her really because my garage is full of dust from doing any woodworking projects. I wait for a warm day and use my power leave blower and blow it all out. I have seen how dusty you get just like all of us.Ted from Arkansas
Will you wire in lights and usb. etc.? I think disable lights in the side wall would be nice. I enjoyed this update .. interesting. Also, the sides, if the side has excess it could be used a a drainage feature.. getting water marks down the sides is a hassle ... sure it might get debris but very easy to bruh off.
Can I ask what your table saw/router table combo is? Time to retire my old saw and it would be nice to save some room in the shop with a combo setup like that.
Looking great, you’re making great progress
Ecellent progress... And Looking GOOD.
Looking forward to seeing how the laminated arch beams turn out. Much more visually attractive on both the interior and exterior.
I like the detail you made for to go around the tail lights and up the side of the box
Thanks Carl. Let’s see if it fits! 🙂
I like it 😎 Cedar
Great idea for the wide access door. Enjoying the process!
Looking fantastic!
Heck yeah buddy, it's looking good!

Good tip
looking good. For the roof arches, you might alternate strips of hardwood with the plywood for extra stiffening ability.
🇨🇦👍
Good idea, thanks
Will you ever build a full over cab sleeper?
I would put little wide 6 inch on each side

I’ll put a small electric system in (lights, dc output for fridge, etc). Good call on those lips, I’ll take that in consideration. Thanks!
Probably get to see in the next video, but what spacing do you plan on with the support for the roof? Looking great!
I’ll play it by ear with how stiff it turns out

Ryobi 3010. They unfortunately don’t make them anymore (I’ve had mine 23years and love it) but they can be found on the secondary market
Dave, what was your estimate of finished weight
Maybe 200 pounds
