If Punk is staying for a while, here's what I'd do. John Cena vs Cody Rhodes main events Night 1 and Roman Reigns vs The Rock main events Night 2. Seth Rollins vs CM Punk is in the middle of either both nights. After CM Punk beats set he says on RAW after WM41, "Now that all my distractions are gone with Seth & Drew, My goal is set for one thing and that is the main event of WM42, fingers crossed its in Wembley. John Cena goes on this run until his last match where he drops the Championship to CM Punk. After a year since Cody lost the belt, he wants the WWE Championship back, so at WM42, the main event of night 2 will be CM Punk vs Cody Rhodes.

I think you are right about the Undertaker spot in Wrestlemania 40 being meant for Stone Cold. On Undertaker’s podcast Six Feet Under with Mark Calloway, he mentions he was contacted on twice before mania for a possible spot, but wasn’t told till the day of, as he was drinking a few beers and relaxing in his street clothes/merch, he got a call to do the spot. Undertaker being the loyal guy, was willing to run with security from his booth to the opposite side to do his spot. Meanwhile, a lot of people quote that Stone Cold didn’t do Wrestlemania because he wanted to be with family, but couldn’t find a direct source like Undertaker. Because of this I think the Undertaker spot was even more awesome than a potential Stone Cold Spot. More unexpected and the Rock’s reaction of fear works better for the Undertaker than Stone Cold , but yeah that’s my preference
here’s how i’d book it: punk is out until maybe survivor series-first netflix raw episode. at that time, he announces he is entering the royal rumble, at this same time, i would have a three way feud between macyintire seth and gunther. this way you can get the title on seth while also protecting gunther and further pushing drew to his climb to the very top. punk wins the rumble and challenges seth. i could see it going both ways, with either them pulling the trigger on seth vs punk or doing the triple threat between punk seth and drew. gunther will go off and imo face bron breaker as it was recently teased on raw. punk main events night one and wins the title. after this, wwe can book how they please. all i want to see after this is cm punk vs cody rhodes at a big 4 ple in the next coming years. also punk vs styles, ko, gunther, reigns, and one last grudge match with cena.
CM Punk should face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania. I know a lot of people want CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton but I can see those matches still taking place at SummerSlam 2025. The same cannot be said with CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes unless one of them switches brands (which would most likely be Cody Rhodes) and even if that were the case Punk vs. Rhodes needs the WWE Championship. The other two matches can take place without a title but this one needs to be a championship match.

CM Punk's dream was always to main event a WrestleMania. His fans also want that for him for all of that Punk has given to the business in the ring and on the mic. The most logical opponent would be Seth Rollins as the story writes itself. You could argue the merits on whether he "deserves" it this year with all of the great talent they have, but in my opinion, this is the year to acknowledge all of his accomplishments by finally giving him the top billing. It does not even really matter if he goes over and with Seth, you would almost be guaranteed to get a classic. To me, this just makes the most sense for the fans and for Punk. More than anything, I hope HHH pulls the trigger on this one before it is too late.

Mitb 2025 Randy Orton wins, Punk has some smaller feuds maybe with Priest, or Bron Breakker. Leading up to Summerslam Cena and Punk feud as he wants to get his 17th world title. Night one main event, Cena v Punk. During the match Cena is about to finish Punk, music hits, Randy Orton is cashing in making it a triple threat match for the world heavyweight championship and Cena wins

I'm not entirely sure why the video heavily implies punk can't go. Yeah he's no osprey in the ring but he never was his art has always been the storytelling between the rooes he can absolutely do that. Also insinuating he wont be around most of the part time nature of him was due to injury and he's been on every PPV since he's been cleared and if that hell in a cell showed anything is that he can still go. I'm as worried about him hurting himself again like any punk fan but we have no reason to believe this isn't bad luck and so far fingers crossed he seems to be ok. So give him a marquee singles match at mania don't think he needs to be hidden in triple threats all of a sudden when he's done ok with 3 singles matches since returning already

So did Shawn but refused to have any world title after he came back from a 4 year hiatus as he didn't wanna be on the road constantly. That might have been true for Punk 10 years ago but he's very limited in terms of what his body can sustain at this point. He'll have a short world title if the story calls for it but im sure he's not begging to be constantly on the road and working live shows this late in his career.

Rollins and Punk feud got stale and its more to do with Rollins, HHH tried to insert him as ref in Drew vs Punk but it backfired when fan were disinterested Rollins program with Punk, Drew single handley took away the momentum from Seth. It will be more logical for Punk to move and dethrone Gunther, the world heavyweight title needs a big star to hold it, Gunther is good but Punk will make it important and title to fight for. Punk needs to be inserted in world title picture.

CM Punk's dream was always to main event a WrestleMania. His fans also want that for him for all of that Punk has given to the business in the ring and on the mic. The most logical opponent would be Seth Rollins as the story writes itself. You could argue the merits on whether he "deserves" it this year with all of the great talent they have, but in my opinion, this is the year to acknowledge all of his accomplishments by finally giving him the top billing. It does not even really matter if he goes over and with Seth, you would almost be guaranteed to get a classic. To me, this just makes the most sense for the fans and for Punk. More than anything, I hope HHH pulls the trigger on this one before it is too late.

Punk is coming back in time for Survivor Series. Not sure what plans are, might have a match with Gunter for the WHC at Survivor Series. There were rumors about it but it hasn’t been mentioned since. I can see them putting the WHC on Punk because with Netflix coming up, they might want a familiar and clearly the face of Raw as champ.
Also Punk confirmed he was not meant to win the Rumble. But he enjoys it that people believe he was meant to lol.

The following week on raw during his promo he is interrupted by by Seth Rollins, the feud can run all the way through mania and backlash but Punk retains as champ. Mitb 2025 Randy Orton wins, Punk has some smaller feuds maybe with Priest, or Bron Breakker. Leading up to Summerslam Cena and Punk feud as he wants to get his 17th world title. Night one main event, Cena v Punk. During the match Cena is about to finish Punk, music hits, Randy Orton is cashing in making it a triple threat match for the world heavyweight championship and Cena wins

I'm not entirely sure why the video heavily implies punk can't go. Yeah he's no osprey in the ring but he never was his art has always been the storytelling between the rooes he can absolutely do that.
Also insinuating he wont be around most of the part time nature of him was due to injury and he's been on every PPV since he's been cleared and if that hell in a cell showed anything is that he can still go.
I'm as worried about him hurting himself again like any punk fan but we have no reason to believe this isn't bad luck and so far fingers crossed he seems to be ok.
So give him a marquee singles match at mania don't think he needs to be hidden in triple threats all of a sudden when he's done ok with 3 singles matches since returning already

So did Shawn but refused to have any world title after he came back from a 4 year hiatus as he didn't wanna be on the road constantly. That might have been true for Punk 10 years ago but he's very limited in terms of what his body can sustain at this point. He'll have a short world title if the story calls for it but im sure he's not begging to be constantly on the road and working live shows this late in his career.

Rollins and Punk feud got stale and its more to do with Rollins, HHH tried to insert him as ref in Drew vs Punk but it backfired when fan were disinterested Rollins program with Punk, Drew single handley took away the momentum from Seth. It will be more logical for Punk to move and dethrone Gunther, the world heavyweight title needs a big star to hold it, Gunther is good but Punk will make it important and title to fight for. Punk needs to be inserted in world title picture.
