@@TheSirenGeek how did i know you were gonna comment this
@ I’m just cool like that
I cant tell. Possibly.
yes
Nah it’s perfect man 👌👌👌
Nice video! Its definitely sad to see Milwaukee's old sirens go. But at least they will be finding new life whether thats on another community warning system or an the hand of an enthusiast. In fact, last I heard, a siren enthusiast already got dibs on this siren. So, a very bittersweet thing seeing this get uninstalled after at least half a century of reliable operation but its in good hands.
There's still Mobil Directos in this world?! Yesh
Gonna miss the ol sirens.
@@OwenLester The T-128s are gonna be the zombie sirens of Milwaukee! It's gonna be a Tempest apocalypse! 🧟♂️📢
We all will.
Idk what everyone’s on about, that zoom was perfection man🤌

@@pelicanstatesirens it was so you guys could see the bird better 🤷♂️
@@Midwest_Sirensthe bird looks very much like a bird
Why is this siren even getting replaced? It works just fine. I just don't understand you, Milwaukee. 😞
Mainly due to Milwaukee’s system being super old and hard to maintain. T-128’s are gonna be much more reliable.
It's gonna be a T-128 apocalypse! 🧟♂️📢
@ yup
@@SirensOfWisconsin1679 It's not just T-128's. There will be plenty of T-135's as well. Mainly replacing the P-50's. Also the bigger reason why they are replacing all of their sirens is because they want their entire system to have battery backup.
@ right, I did forget about that.
u zoomed in too far, other than that good video
@@minnesotaoutdoorwarningsirens nuh uh really
NO I didn’t know they are replacing it
All sirens in Milwaukee are slated for replacement at some point in the near future. They are starting with the older T-128/135's and then finishing with the P-50's. The hurricane might continue to operate on the newer system however. Since it's the last remaining commercially operated hurricane anywhere. But an indirect replacement T-128 will also be installed at the ASC headquarters to provide coverage for that area should the hurricane fail for any reason. (Likely the blower given its condition rn)
I think you zoomed in too far there
@@Montecat33 howd you figure that one out?
allertor real
lemme guess, It's being replaced by a 2001-130?
Luckily not, T-128 instead
T-128. The siren coverage map will be more than likely redesigned, so some sirens for a given area might be at a different location
