One of the all-time greats! "Come Drink With Me" is still Top 5 Martial Arts films of all time. Prime Cheng Pei Pei vs. Prime Moon Lee would have opened a rift in space-time and ended all of our existences.
She looks so beautiful in the movie The Thunderinh Sword. Just Gorgeous ! I kinda fell in love with her young look. Sad to see that she had a very hard life struggling in U.S 1960's were the days man I tell you :")
Great video and so many people do not even know of her, thank you. I am a huge fan of Michelle Yeoh and Xhang Zhi (both were accomplished dancers in their youth then became amazing martial arts actresses on film) but this lady was and is the real deal. PS. why does racial arguments get involved in almost every you tube or yahoo online posting? Come on people.
I have been sharing lots of your clips featuring female performers on my twitter account (@FuThoughts) to celebrate International Womens Day. Thanks for giving an equal amount of attention to the ladies and celebrating their talents.
there was a movie she did in the 70's where she's captain of a female special ops group going in to save friends from a band of bad guys.. she's using hand to hand combat ,and it was pretty fierce.I forget the name of the movie..
@@noelebdalin8490 no that wasn't the one she was older in the one I'm talking about..the movie I speak of was set in modern day ..a squad of killer girls raid a ship and destroy everything
I just saw the movie Come Drink With Me. That flick is a serious work of art, even if the cinematography was a bit iffy. She is SUCH a bad-ass protagonist!!!!!
I cant forget the Dragon Swamp. Lo lieh as cheng pei pei's lost brother was villain at first but repent at the end. He said at the end when he finally found his lost mother and sister, "my father told me that you two are dead, so I decided to be bad". In tagalog (im not that good in english). "Sinabi sa akin ng aking ama na patay na kayong dalawa, kaya naisip kong magpakasama na lang."
The 3 of the 5 in Brothers Five were love interest role of cheng pei pei in other movies. Lo lieh in The Flying Dagger. Hueh Hwah in Dragon Swamp and the other one (dont know the name) in The Golden Sword. The two of the five, they are unfamiliar for me.
That Puerto Rican, if you lived in NYC in the early to late 80's? There would be a tv station that would air martial arts films on Saturday afternoons. Sometimes they would do a double feature.
Dale Mcilwain True that, it was on Channel 5 Fox. 3pm Savage 5, 5 Deadly Venoms, Master Killer (aka 36th Chamber of Shaolin), Duel of the Iron Fists...just to name a few.
Chinese movies screen legend and Shaw Brothers era superstar Cheng Pei Pei is GIRL POWER in the 60's and 70's. Very inspiring.

Great video. I would have ended it off with her scenes from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. She was older but she could still handle those swords.

Wow! She is brand new to me....i love her
There are actresses that are martial artists, but few martial artists that can act. Chang Pei Pei is one.
