You can use any headset that is not a usb headset with this mixer. Works with headsets with built in mics as well so doesnt necessarily need a standalone mic either. Hope I understood your question correctly.
Only down side to that is that you can't press and hold down the censor button/sound in order to sensor everything you want to censor. It'll have to be a set length of the censor sound that will either play too short or long for what you want to censor.
So I’m thinking hooking up my dac/amp into the line in and using headphones to monitor just want to make sure that I’ll still benefit from using an amp if it’s going into the mixer
@@SojuLOL I can’t see why that wouldn’t work. But this is. Budget device I can’t say with certainty there will be a limitation there. Should get my hands on an amp for testing purposes.
Hello! I'm planning to buy this mixer to pair with my Fifine AM8 however I found out that when you switch to XLR cable from usb, you lose the ability to mute the mic via the sensitive touch on the mic, is there a way to be able to mute mic using sensitive touch while using the XLR mixer at the same time?
This device does not support usb headsets unfortunately. Your headset will need to have a 3.5mm output. It will support the headset mic as well in that fashion.
IT’s recommended by fifine that you use an xlr mic. Usb conversion may not play nice converting digital to analog. It’s really not meant for it to be used that way.
Hey I have wireless headphones which uses a usb stick to connect, do you think if I connected that stick to a usb to headphone jack adapter I would be able to use it with this ?
I have a question, can you set this to get audio on a dual pc stream setup similar to a go xlr? I don’t mind not being able to control it individually as I currently have it through a splitter. Thanks for the review!
ive only seen great reviews of this and i bought it along with a fifine mic and i cannot get it to work at all lol and the mic quality is low and my previous fifine mic that wasn't as nice sounds better. idk what I'm doing wrong but I'm so confused.
When you say you can’t get it to work at all, do you mean all of the functions even outside of mic use? Which mic did you get with this unit? If you’re using xlr then quality should not be so low unless the xlr cable is the issue.
Thank you for the great review! Best one I found so far for this product. Some very basic questions, hope you can answer. 1. Does the headphone out also play general PC audio, or just for mic monitoring? 2. Can you turn the mic monitoring off without muting everything?
Thanks for the feedback. Good questions. The headphone out does playback pc audio. If you turn the mic monitoring off it will mute all of your monitoring.
is the mic monitor easy to adjust? I was unsure if the slider above the button is overall volume or just mic monitor volume. Maybe it's both? if you could clear this up for me I would appreciate it.
@@socalgod_ I don’t have an in depth one yet but I think I need to make one. This is a common question I get. Here’s a response from the Fifine shop: Yes, you can use this to set up dual PCs, and all audio can be transmitted to the streaming computer. Additionally, there are two situations that need to be noted: 1.If voice software such as Discord is used on game computers. SC3 USB is connected to the game computer as input and output, and SC3 LINE OUT is connected to the input port or microphone port of the live streaming computer. 2. If voice software such as Discord is used on live streaming computers/or does not require voice communication with teammates. The SC3 USB is connected to the live streaming computer as input and output, and the headphone interface of the game computer is connected to the SC3 LINE IN port.

Absolutely. You can use it for ANY sound. Just add your own censor sound you would like.
Only down side to that is that you can't press and hold down the censor button/sound in order to sensor everything you want to censor. It'll have to be a set length of the censor sound that will either play too short or long for what you want to censor.
@@johnrodriguez2372 Yea that is correct. It will just play the sound of the recording. So no real cough button.
Can you connect two microphones to the Pc using this mixer? To do an interview for example?
This mixer takes only one mic at a time.
Am I able to hook a headphone amp up to this device?
I haven't tried connecting a headphone amp. Will it be connected directly or inline?
So I’m thinking hooking up my dac/amp into the line in and using headphones to monitor just want to make sure that I’ll still benefit from using an amp if it’s going into the mixer
@@SojuLOL I can’t see why that wouldn’t work. But this is. Budget device I can’t say with certainty there will be a limitation there. Should get my hands on an amp for testing purposes.
does ths act as a sound card as well? PC Audio going through the USB to the mixer andhearing it through the headphones?
That is correct. All pc audio will port through this device.
@@TekToyzGaming thanks! I thought so but then started questioning myself
Is it necessary to hook up the aux but also have a headphone jack hooked to it?
@@Jayden-g4k3r not sure exactly what you mean. The headphone jack is an aux connection. Do you mean aux line in from another device?
Once you are in xlr you will not be able to use the onboard buttons on the mic. They only work in usb mode.
Can I use this with just a usb headset? And not need like a stand up mic?
This device does not support usb headsets unfortunately. Your headset will need to have a 3.5mm output. It will support the headset mic as well in that fashion.
Ive got a usb mic the hyperx quadcast is there anyways i can conmect that up with the fifine audio mixer?
Thanks for the question. Unfortunately this doesn’t work with usb mics, even with converters.
So my microphone is USB would this connect or do I need something different
IT’s recommended by fifine that you use an xlr mic. Usb conversion may not play nice converting digital to analog. It’s really not meant for it to be used that way.
Hey I have wireless headphones which uses a usb stick to connect, do you think if I connected that stick to a usb to headphone jack adapter I would be able to use it with this ?
@@silent8335 I’m afraid most usb to aux jack connections don’t work with this mixer, even usb mics.
@@TekToyzGaming alright thanks though
Can I use three mixer on ps5???
There is a way to daisy chain mixers. I did make a video on it. Might want to check that one out.
I have a question, can you set this to get audio on a dual pc stream setup similar to a go xlr? I don’t mind not being able to control it individually as I currently have it through a splitter. Thanks for the review!
Afraid I can't answer that in full confidence. I have not tested a dual pc setup with this as of yet. Might need to chime in @FIFINE for this one.
@@TekToyzGaming appreciate the response!
Confirmed with Fifine themselves that you can in fact get dual audio stream with this mixer 😉
Dude.. you’re a clown haha dope video dude! I totally enjoyed it!
🤣My bad I can't help it. Glad you enjoyed!
@@TekToyzGaming Don’t stop! 😃
Question I have the FIfine RGB headset with mic! So where do I plug in audio jack from sc3 also I’m on Pc
Hi. If the headset has a 3.5mm Jack then can just use the headset port. If usb you will need an adapter.
I think you referred to the H6 USB headset, that model doesn't work with the SC3, you have to use it with the 3.5mm headset.
May i know your mic used in this video?
I used the Fifine am8. Sounds decent?
Is the audio you recorded using the AM8 plugged to the SC3 mixer raw audio or no filters?
For the am8 I have noise suppression running over usbc and applied noise suppression to the mixer while on xlr.
What mic are you using
@@JollyBean-360 that’s the fifine AM8. Sounds ok?
@@TekToyzGaming yeah it’s good I just wanted to know
ive only seen great reviews of this and i bought it along with a fifine mic and i cannot get it to work at all lol and the mic quality is low and my previous fifine mic that wasn't as nice sounds better. idk what I'm doing wrong but I'm so confused.
PC audio also comes through the headphone output. And the mic monitoring is default off, you can turn it on by pressing the monitoring button.
Don't know if you're still responding to comments if so does this allow you to " copy" game chat clip and play it back?
Yup I still respond 👍🏽. The only way you can copy is if you record the chat clip with one of the sound pads.
is the mic monitor easy to adjust? I was unsure if the slider above the button is overall volume or just mic monitor volume. Maybe it's both? if you could clear this up for me I would appreciate it.
Another good question. The mic monitor slider will adjust overall audio monitoring… except audio coming in from usbc input.
@@TekToyzGaming ok gotcha. Thanks a ton Mr.
Can this be used to seperate different sound sources and channels and allow to be able to mute/unmute them when streaming /from twitch VOD? 😊
You can control audio input from a couple of sources but you can’t get too specific the way you would like with this device.
Can this be used for dual pc streaming and gaming?
This will do dual pc stream 👍🏽
@@TekToyzGamingthanks. Bought anyways off your review!
@@TekToyzGaming do you have a tutorial video setting up dual pc streaming with it? having a hard time
@@socalgod_ I don’t have an in depth one yet but I think I need to make one. This is a common question I get. Here’s a response from the Fifine shop:
Yes, you can use this to set up dual PCs, and all audio can be transmitted to the streaming computer.
Additionally, there are two situations that need to be noted:
1.If voice software such as Discord is used on game computers.
SC3 USB is connected to the game computer as input and output, and SC3 LINE OUT is connected to the input port or microphone port of the live streaming computer.
2. If voice software such as Discord is used on live streaming computers/or does not require voice communication with teammates.
The SC3 USB is connected to the live streaming computer as input and output, and the headphone interface of the game computer is connected to the SC3 LINE IN port.
would it work on a ps5
It will 👍🏽
So is there np way to use any other voice effects with this? Like echo or adding reverb?
Pretty much all I’ve demonstrated is all there is to it. No other manual pitch or reverb effects options.
Does it work with hyperx solocast usb ?
Unfortunately doesn’t work with anything usb.
@@TekToyzGaming thank bro
I just wanted to know if I can use this without a goxlr or fifne mic because I have a maono and don’t wanna purchase another mic
If you have a Maono mic and it is xlr then you can use it with this mixer.
@@TekToyzGaming I don’t think it’s xlr it’s just a simple plug and play and I’ve tried using it with the audio mixer and it’s not picking up the mic
@@TekToyzGaming so I guess I purchased this for nothing
@@Caribbean-Dream242 unfortunately this doesn’t work with usb mics. Needs to be xlr. I’ve even tried using a usb to 3.5mm aux adapter and still doesn’t work.

Yes you can use your phone as well via the aux port.

@TekToyzGaming yea cuz my pc broke an i dont have mac book/chomebook i getting th fifine and no one show how to use a phone on it only pc
@TeKToyzGaming
If this was covered already I apologize. You said you could connect a USB or an XLR style microphone to it how would one go about doing that? I don’t see a usb microphone input.
Hey thanks for the visit. Glad you asked this. There’s always something I miss or didn’t think about. Y’all help me with that 😊. Aight so you can use xlr, 3.5mm, or USB. For usb though you would need an adapter to 3.5mm. I can’t guarantee you it would sound great. Every mic not built the same.
Your USB mic has to have a headphone output, and then use a 3.5mm TRS audio cable to connect the headphone out on your mic to the line-in jack of the SC3.
I had a question should I start with this or a audio interface
It really depends what you need it for at the end of the day. This here is a good start. Does a bit more than just a basic interface.
@@TekToyzGaming thank you!!
Can you Connect your Guitar wo h it?

Fifine doesn’t advertise that it does. If it does work I imagine it will not work well.
