  • In this video we prepare for a long ride South as we cross the border back into the United Staes of America and end up in Eastern Washington for the night.
So sit back and relax, I think you're gonna like this!
    Thanks for riding a long!
This video is part of a 24 day road trip that will take us from my home in Northern California, up to see my sister Janet in the town of Smithers, British Columbia, (which is approximately 1000 miles North of the U.S. Border) while camping as much as possible along the way.
So sit back and relax and enjoy my take on visual storytelling,.......
    Thanks for Riding Along!

I can sense the sadness in your voice in regard to the end of the adventure. Crossing back into the United States from Canada is one of those triggering milestones even though there's still a long way toward home.
Finding myself with more gear than I need is a theme in my life. Not so much with riding as it was backpacking. My plans always seemed bigger than reality....
Another fine episode in this series. I'm really grateful you've taken the time to make the videos so I can join vicariously. Maybe someday I'll be able to return the favor.

I'm a new rider, but a fairly experienced hiker/backpacker. I've found that little conversations like that with random people I come across along my travels really mean something, and tend to stick with me. I'm glad you decided to include that in the video.
Great work as always, and thanks for sharing your adventures!

Aw man, loved this. Spot on with the music and the ride was awesome. Shame about those awful wild fires though. What a lovely couple you met from Illinois, they seemed genuinely interested in you and your Himmy.

I enjoyed your videos my friend, I took my old Harley up to Hyder Alaska a few years back, all way up from my home in Alabama, got all the way to Hyder then had a little problem I discovered the next day, so no one way up there to assist with my problem but we loaded up camp and headed back to a small Harley dealership in Smithers, what a real cool town there, that night getting into Smithers we found a unique campground in Smithers, it was a golf course / campground on the river, now that was different but the native Indian running it could not be more accommodating, anyway, I’ve loved your videos, me and my buddy will be heading back out that way and pick up the Selkirk loop, leave in July, so take care hope I see u again on this channel. Hello there Forrest. I’m Glenn and will be going through Eureka this weekend and wanted to say hi. We lived in shelter cove for a couple years and then moved to Moab Ut. Now in Washington state. I have been riding for about 55 years. Going to ride the lost coast and then the usal. Always room for another.

Another great video. Finally got some decent weather and a long weekend. The bike ride to the cabin was sunny, mid 60s, and the bike run like a singer sewing machine. It is going to handle the oregon to NY trip in July just fine.

    • @NorthboundMotorcycleADV
      @NorthboundMotorcycleADV  Рік тому +1

Thanks for the the kind words…..
      To answer your question:
If you’re fatigued, stop and rest.
If you are hungry, stop and eat.
If you see something on the side of the road, stop and look at it (this gives you the opportunity to get off the bike and stretch the legs)
Thanks for watching and more videos coming soon 🍻😎
