    Thank you so much for your videos. I have watched a few of them. They have been tremendously helpful as I'm learning to use this software to draw plans for homes I'm building.

    I set up a spreadsheet and tested this and it works wonderful! I could have used this the past 35 years :)

    In Home Designer Architectural 2023 is there a way to display the terrain / poly size and angles?

    • @ChiefArchitect
      @ChiefArchitect  Рік тому

      Architectural will provide the terrain features, perimeter, elevation data (contour lines).

    Can you use these methods for an existing plan?

    How do you create a polyline with the line tool? When I connect the final line it does not shade. Every video only shows polylines created with boxes.

      With the CAD line selected, the bottom toolbar will have an option "Convert Polyline"

    Can the transform/resize function be done in Chief Architect Home Designer Architectural 2019? I cannot find the function.

      Thank you for your question, George. The Transform/Replicate Object tool is not available in Architectural. However, it is available in Home Designer Professional and Chief Architect Premier.

      @@ChiefArchitect This is a pretty basic omission, and the workaround is horrendous.

    Do I need pro version to change the line to decimal points? I tried changing defaults settings and it does not change the line format.

    How do u change text size of line length and angle

    • @ChiefArchitect
      @ChiefArchitect  5 років тому +1

      Hi James! You'll want to edit the text style for the Layer that the text is on. In this case, the layer is 'CAD, Default'. To do so, open up the "Polyline Specification' dialog by double-clicking the line. From here, go to the 'Line Style' panel and under 'Line Options', select 'Define' next to the Layer. This will open the 'Layer Display Options' dialog. From here, you can adjust the 'Properties for Selected Layer' (towards the bottom of the dialog). You'll see the Text Style that's used and you can 'Define' it.
      If you require further assistance, please give us a call at 208-292-3400. Thanks!

      @@ChiefArchitect I have Home Designer Pro 2018. Is this option not available in my version? I'm attempting to make the text size larger for the line length and angle. I can't seem to find any setting which allows me to do this
