  • Sorry for the lack of videos this past few months. We appreciate every single one of you and thank you for hanging in there with us. In this video I ride Thunderbird Mountain north of Phoenix in the Glendale suburb and as you may see....I may be a little crazy! Thank you and Happy New Year!

Yep rough ride Cuz...If you all make it to Phoenix..head for Apache Junction and hike or ride the Superstition Mountain. I have done it on horse back when I lived in AJ....beautiful ride. Enjoy the road. I will see you on one of them one day, I hope.

Couldn’t find much reviews about the Kahuna. I did see your vid riding one tough and got me interested so much I made a down payment and bought a new Kahuna @local bike shop over here in Holland. Delivery should be somewhere in February. As an option the bike shop can install a dropper for € 260 ($ 315) extra. The offered dropper is a Crankbrothers Highline 3. The bike itself costs € 999 ($ 1200). Should I do it if the aftermarket dropper is costing a quarter of the bike price? I guess If I bought and installed the same dropper, or something similar myself, it would cost me about € 220 ($ 265). Having put out these numbers I wonder if adding some more cash would be better and go for the Kona Honzo 2021 priced at € 1399 ( $ 1690)?

@@igorzzzz1 glad my video helped that’s awesome! If I could do it over again knowing what I know now, I would probably lean more towards the Honzo. Spend a little extra and get more bang for your buck. It all depends on your riding style though. The Honzo has a lot more aggressive geometry than the Kahuna and will ride different.
