    When starting the hole, angle the drill to the side to start the cut. as you get some septhy, start to straighten up the drill bit perpendicluar to the bottle face. Run your drill bit slow through the whole process and do not push on the drill. Let the diamonds do the work. Keep it wet as you did! At the end slow down even more. When toward the end too much pressure will stress crack the glass and you will get a blow out or crack like you did. Takes some some practice! Good job for the first time!

    5 volts is plenty to drive some LED's. Many lightbulbs these days are converted to that lower voltage range inside. That makes the wiring, kits and whatnot for 110/230 "directly" some overkill and more expensive. I don't care, if you want it that way. Just saying.

    hello Jason..I am coming back to riding from a tricked out Cannondale F700,and need a great climbing bike that rides well,and I see the Giant Tracer 3 mentioned a lot for under $2000 I rode trails almost like that clipped in on the F700,yet it's been a while so I will get reacquainted with flat open pedals first and just have both. Do you love the Trance and why?

    Did you happen to notice the thickness of the Tannus Armour? When I saw you removing it, I was hoping you would show the thickness of the insert after 5 months. I just saw a video (ua-cam.com/video/Dfx6UbycifM/v-deo.html) from another UA-cam channel that indicates the Tannus can squish and loose its protection. However, your video is rare in that it shows you need to downsize the tube in the tire. I wonder if the other youtuber that had the issue with the Tannus Armour downsized the tube or used the original tube. I wonder if that would explain why his got squished flat.

    • @Rhodair
      @Rhodair Рік тому

      From what I'd seen, there could be a couple factors. It's recommended to start with 5-10 less PSI than usual - higher the psi the more condensed the Armour could get. They also say to let out most air when not riding to give the Armour opportunities to decompress. That gives it way more lifespan although I suspect many people skip it. It's all tradeoffs, and for me, I'd rather sacrifice an extra minute before/after the ride than risk losing any peace of mind or time during the ride.

    Don't get Tannus Amour inserts. They are very expensive and are not worth the money. You will still get flat tires. The inserts make it more difficult to repair tubes when they do go flat. The ride is not smoother. It's best to deflate when storing with the no weight on the tires. My Tannus inserts have been a pain. I have hundreds of miles on Tannus Armour inserts and would rather use Slime tubes which cost me less than seven dollars each. The one advantage of Tannus inserts is that you can ride them while your tire is flat. It will damage the tube but save the rim.

    Just installed my tannus armour like an hour ago and it felt amazing knowing that I have puncture protection specially from torns, plys, shards from bottles and etc. I am currently using CST Jack Rabbit || 29x2.25 with a maxxis 700x33-50C inner tubes. My rim has a 28mm inner width. I don't give a F about the weight at all. Nice review sir! 🫡👍

    • @norootsnoproblem
      @norootsnoproblem 3 роки тому

      Thanks for watching! I didn’t feel like it bottomed out there, it felt like it handled it pretty well surprisingly. I have noticed on bigger stuff it is using every bit of its 115 travel but it doesn’t jolt hard when it does, it somehow soaks it up. Maybe it’s the Mistro suspension? Also remember I’m coming from a hardtail so it feels pretty good to me.

    Hi Guys - thanks for sharing on your channel! I am looking to buy the same year Keystone 253FWRE. I like how lightweight it is, but concerned about the structural integrity and quality of the unit. Have you had any problems with RV (excluding non-Keystone items such as appliances, tires, etc), and would you buy it again? Do you advise to inspect any potential problematic items before buying? Has the gelcoat, slides, and roof held up OK? Thanks in advance!

    • @norootsnoproblem
      @norootsnoproblem 3 роки тому

      We had issues with the curbside slidout not coming back in straight when we first bought it. The dealer fixed it and it’s been okay ever since. At almost two years old we had to replace the floor in the same slide because of water damage. We also had to replace the roof on the streetside slide because it apparently had a rotten section that was also letting in water. Other than that it’s been great and has held up well.
