@@mrltnj You've got a lot of cool videos so far, I'm looking to eventually try some 1/24 scale dioramas to stage model cars myself, so I can see I can learn a lot from you. Subscribed after UA-cam suggested this video to me and I'm looking forward to checking out your other works.
@scaleffect How I wish I have the space for bigger dioramas! My main collection are 1/43 scale and right now I'm restricted to making 1/64 dioramas. Thank you for the kind words and the sub! Feel free to ask questions too, I'd be glad to help out when I can.
I admire your eye for detail. Fantastic work. May I please ask what type of material you use to build this? What is the name of the white sheeting used and also what thickness have you found to be the best to use ?
@@mrltnj I also bought this foam core, but after painting it, it starts to bend because of the paint, and when cut it never looks exactly right. I don't know if it's the quality of my foam core
@@xakamira1 I use 3mm thick ones for structures and base. Did you apply a thick layer of paint? The board shouldnt warp because of paint unless they are warped to begin with.
@@mrltnj I also use the 3mm thickness for the frame and base. I apply 3 layers of paint, otherwise the paint won't apply well, but the foam card always warps a little, I don't know why. thanks

@stephenwhite347 hello and thank you for the kind words! The material is called a foam core board (also called sintra board by some). I mainly use the 3mm thick ones. Easier to cut straight, can be used for almost everything unless you need it to be thin for detailing in which case I resort to the 1.5mm variants.
Love this!
Awesome Artwork!! i love it!! Greetings from Anoke
@anokesunboxing-figurenundm2113 Thank you! Cheers!
Great looking replication. It's an iconic place in the racing world. Thanks for sharing your hard work
@scaleffect it really is iconic! Glad you like my version of it. Cheers!

is that foam board? and what is that clear plastic for windows? amazing work btw!🙌🏻
Yes, those are foam boards. Windows were made from transparent film sheets used for bookbinding cover.
@@mrltnj ok thanks!!
Is foam core board the same as expanded pvc board?
@Adubs808 almost, although I believe that pvc boards are sturdier, more heavy duty in general 🙂
What glue are you using?
@3blkst cyanoacryalate glue 🙂
Where can i get the print of aircon and signage? Thanks
