This was one of the best storylines of Sen’s era of EastEnders around 2020/21. The acting was brilliant and the writing and the camerawork for Mick’s storyline was indeed immersive and emotional. Danny Dyer smashed it👏🏽
The storyline had its flaws, it was a bit of a retcon and Linda cheating on Mick with Max was an unforgivable development, but I agree that it was a strong storyline overall. Danny Dyer, Kellie Bright and Simone Lahbib all brought their A game for this episode.
I know everyone makes mistakes in relationships but I really do hope Mick and Linda get back together and say bye bye to Janine before leaving the soap
@@Themistocles30 I agree. Alfie is a vile character who taunted Kat about her sexual abuse. The Carters have had some dodgy storylines but are nowhere near as ruined as Alfie. Kalfie had shippers but there were just as many people who couldn't stand Alfie and his cheesy patter and felt he dragged Kat down.. Alfie was a big part of two flop eras of the show (2002-2004) and (2011-2013). They're on a hiding to nothing if they think putting him in The Vic again is the answer.
Can’t stand Alfie’s character he’s way too cheesy and him and kat would never be together. If they put them back together now after baby cherry and stuff it’s just stupid

The thought of Frankie being in her 30s, never rang true to me. But the rest of the storyline was very important and interesting,

That was completely out of character for Linda. It was clear from interviews that neither Kellie nor Jake believed in the storyline.
