- READ THIS: The 2005 Daleks and the set were made by me, everything else was made by Mechmaster they are part of the Second Empire comic i have never claimed them as my own

Actually I want to see more augmented daleks, like the special weapons one and some of the other well-armed beasties from Second Empire.
Since those are the older Daleks, the idea of the master race being ressurected makes more sense. Nice work :-)
Brilliant! Simply brilliant. What I love about MechMaster's designs is that, while he has fun with the detailing, his Daleks remain faithful to the history and spirit of the original design, unlike the plastic monstrosities trotted out with a fanfare in "Victory of the Daleks".
Part of me has a fondness for the new Daleks, particularly since they have a very retro look to them. Very "Daleks- Invasion Earth 2150" style. I admit, when I saw them, I laughed as the designs were so very D:IE2150. Though, your redesigns make for a better, more logical upgrade. The similarity to the older design makes more sense than a drastic trip back to the 70s.
Your one's look brilliant. I always thought they should do a claw instead of a pluger.
Excellent work, especially given that only a week's passed since Victory of the Daleks.

I like them too, until they became metallic in color. I liked how they looked in the actual episode Victory of the Daleks, but not how they looked in Asylum of the Daleks. But the Second Empire Daleks could be the next generation of Daleks.

@Whitepagan In the classic series, the plungers had suction that was used to pick up almost anything and the Ironsides also held tea in "Victory of the Daleks," but the claw is a cool change. I prefer these designs much more than the ones that have been used recently.

It is Grexnarl and Zonzolonzite, the one with the cool head set (they are long range antenna in case you were wondering) is called Aychemex and is the general in charge of the third conquest army
Emperor Xenol and his trustworthy high commanders of the Second Empire? Remarkable. Imagine several timelines are connecting to each other.
They look just wow, I mean, the animation in this video is good, very good, but that Dalek design, it has elements af all 3 Dalek stages, classic, RTD and SM, they just fit my ideal picture of a Dalek, perhaps the base needs to be changed to an RTD though, to create a more threataning look, but they look great?

Is it wrong that I only love this video for the quotes and music from the episode?
The size increase seemed to be so that they could match the height of the 3 main cast members and be able to look them in the eye, (and also give a bit more room inside for the operators.) So most of the time the increased scale doesn't come across on screen and adds nothing, the earlier Daleks were much more menacing, instead of this 'Teletubbies' range, which seem to be geared to toy sales.

A couple of people are working on a Type 6 (the type of Dalek featured) but apart form Dalek storm and a few hybrids with Mechmaster bits added no full size real life version exists YET
if i ever get the time and space i want to make at least one i have to ear lights already
After these new Daleks escape, they build up their forces and the next time the Doctor runs into them, they've built up a massive Dalek Empire that controls a galaxy and is posed to expand BUT the new Daleks are like the ones from the 2nd Empire series so they're more dangerous then ever before and are a force that even the Doctor can't defeat.
THESE Daleks in this video are in my opinion worthy heirs to the Time War Daleks, not the clunky IKEA made abominations that were spat out. The 3 Davros Daleks that made them must've been brain damaged to think that their IKEA creations were worthy of being called Daleks!
Anyhow, if I were these Daleks, I'd thank my creators for creating me but state that they must be exterminated for being impure as I was engineered to do that but I'd tell them that their efforts and sacrifice would be forever remembered by Dalekkind before killing them.

@ByronzeroX The claws are a much smarter design that the plungers, the claws can actually pick up and use stuff
I'm re watching the episode, according to the Daleks, that progenitor contained very old DNA. Perhaps this is why the new ones look so old?

These daleks are not his. They were made by a guy refered to as mechmaster online for his comic known as second empire.

Certainly better than what we actually got.
This really highlights how good Nick Briggs is in his role as the Dalek voices.
Also the gold and bronze Dalek had no light emitting device in his indicator.

OK, That's What SHOULD Have Happned in Victory of the Daleks
@SJ9001 No your not upsetting anyone, the Daleks you see are all characters form Second empire the standard drones in Second Empire look basically the same as the Blue and silver Dalek some have different weapons depending on their function but most are the same
So this is how zenal was born for those who don't understand the first dalek looks like dalek zenal from the second empire bt dubs it's a great series
I always wondered why they never used this opportunity to get rid of the rubbish plunger.
And so the Dalek fan civil war began between those who supported the 'official' Dalek Paradigm and those who supported the Dalek designs in this video!
I actually made a story idea which sort of makes the paradigm daleks decent, basically the empire is destroyed and only the scientist and eternal dalek are left and they try to rebuild the dalek empire in the shadows and create a paradigm dalek time strategist

Full size? Good luck with that, mate. The plan was to make 2. One for me and one for my friend, then I changed my mind and decided to go with the 2005 design. My friend is still making his though, and, as he is an experienced Dalek-builder, he tells me it's the hardest thing he's ever done.

I liked the NDP when I first saw them. My only complaint is their armor shoulda been less bright & more metallic. These daleks do look great though.

Long live the Paradigm Daleks. If they're scaring the crap out of the kids and if they are huge and bulky and physically threatening, then it's the perfect upgrade. The true resurrection of the Daleks!!
The concept of producing a new and updated race of Daleks was noble, but unfortunately, the end result was the Fatleks: they looked comically bulbous around the lower section which made the head and neck look too small and awkwardly perched on top of a too-large body, the brightly coloured casings looked insubstantial, garish, plastic and cheap. The Cushing movies introduced brightly coloured Daleks because they were made in Technicolour and thusfar the television series had been broadcast in monochrome. Nonethless the Daleks in 2150AD looked chintzy. I think the best _redesign_ of the Daleks was the bronze remake first seen in "Dalek". Absolutely faithfuly to the original design, they also looked modern, solid and substantial. You could believe they were armoured war machines. As seen here, the Paradign Daleks need not have been identical save for colour: you would expect a Scientist Dalek, for example, to be less heavily armed and to have additional apparatus such as sensors and manipulators. The older Daleks were of course all the same for budget reasons: the new series faced no such constraints. The audience reaction was so poor that the Paradigm Daleks were given a new metallic paint-job and kept well in the background. One can imagine them going to a Dalek psychiatist and saying "They kept telling me I was fat"

It's better to leave the Daleks to create their own civilization and empire in order to survive than to face extinction like countless of others. The Doctor is always vengeful character who never spare shown any more of compassion or understanding to the Daleks, even if they are the same to start the Time War, therefore he is a true villain; he will never stop spilling blood on his hands like any of his companions.

I do wonder if the black Dalek that was the 1st one to emerge from the forge is like Xenol from the second empire series? That'd be cool as the Daleks need a visionary who can make them more Humanlike in mindset but have them retain their cool qualities.
Also, Daleks like the ones in the 2nd empire would be the Doctor's most dangerous foe yet and one that perhaps even the Doctor couldn't defeat.
Yes i agree If the daleks were more second empire like than more peoples would take them seriously.

@jonwayneisgod Dalek storm was created by the guy who created these Daleks he appears in the Second Empire comic i also have the 3D model of him as well as his 5 friends they look the same but have different heavy weapons
