- Today was the maiden flight day of my new Eflite Carbon Z T-28 Trojan 2.0M... My Friend Oscar brought his 1st generation Eflite Carbon Z T-28 today as well, so we flew them both together right after the conclusion of my maiden flight...

My Thoughts about this plane...
My only complaints are, Plastic Wheels that doesn't have any traction at all specially on windy days like this one and on asphalt runways, the excessive amount of cables that you need to plug and unplug every time you want to fly your plane, Really, common Eflite you can do better🤦🏾♂️ ... They should've installed easy connectors like they did on other models like the F16, the Focke-Wulf, P51D, and some more 🤦🏾♂️ I'll be converting mine to easy connector soon... The battery straps are really thin as well...ohh and the landing gear doesn't have any shock absorbing struts and they are mounted straight against the thin foam wall of the wing with no plastic reinforcement on the back of the landing gear mount, so if you land hard, you could probably have the landing gear poking through the top of your wing 🤦🏾♂️ Other than that, this plane is a beauty to fly...Just make sure to never land her hard, and she'll last forever...👍🏾😁

Everyone is changing out the struts for trailing link shock absorbing struts and Robarts soft wheels. Problem solved. Lots of videos on line. Even so, you are getting an aircraft that is nothing short of outstanding to fly, in any weather. Absolutely fabulous to fly slow or fast.

Great flying and great plane. I have version one of this aircraft , red and white and I've been flying it now for over 5 years. Thanks for sharing.
They are exactly the same plane with the obligation difference being, the new yellow color, the addition of lights, and according to Horizon Hobby an "upgraded" landing gear, although it looks just as same as the one you have but with hard plastic wheels 🤦🏾♂️...I ordered the soft ones yours already have!... As you can see in the video, my friend flew his original version with me and they both performed beautifully! 😁... His plane is 7 years old! 😁...
