I really enjoy George Prior’s channel as well . Highly recommended to anyone that hasn’t seen it . Learnt of lots of records I knew very little about from George. Cheers mate 😎👌🇦🇺
You’re a kind of an underground legend here. I’ve heard people mention your channel before. This video is a great way to get to know your channel and tastes. I don’t have most of what you have but I have other albums by some of the same bands. Certainly, I could enjoy listening to your selections. Groundhogs, Jade, Nektar… all great choices.
Great video!! I also was holding out for Pink Moon but I got tired of searching for the OG for the last 15 years so I finally sucked it up and picked up a reissue last year. I’d also love to find that Kevin Ayer’s. Great tag. Just subbed! Cheers, Brian☘️
Enjoyed your take on this tag. Glad to see you like Electric Flag. That is one if my favorite bands. You are doing a great job with your channel. Keep it up.
Man, saw The Nighthawks '84ish Chevy Chase/Silver Springs area (ferget). My wife knew them... Damn, blast from the past. -- I can't believe I sold my original "Tomorrow" album. (shoot me) Always killer kiddo. Peace on earth.
Outstanding tag, Sorin! Do you have any Elvis (the King of Rock!) in your collection? I would recommend his 1968 TV Special album or maybe his first Golden Records (all of his most famous 50’s songs), which you should be able to pick up in Walmart; the new Gold Vinyl edition.
I have the Elvis Golden Records and The Elvis Christmas album in my collection, both gifted from my grandma. Still looking for an original of the first album. ✌☮
The Trip is a fantastic lp. It’s actually the Flags first lp. Long Time Comin is such huge blow out around here. Never far from my turn table cause Groovin is Easy!🖖🤪
Love--Bummer In The Summer. 🌞 I knew a guy in the early 80's that had an old wood coat hanger, it had Morrison Hotel printed on it. It looked authentic! The Wheels and the Wheel A Ways are the same band. The US version of Bad Little Woman is a different take when compared to the Euro version.
Thats really cool! It was a real hotel so it definitely could be authentic. Interesting about the wheels/wheel a ways, I didn't know they had different takes. Thanks for watching ✌
Interesting picks. Ahh Tomorrow... great band. Got the 45's, and the Harvest re-release LP from '76. You might wanna hunt down the comp "50 Minute Technicolour Dream", which contains some unreleased 'n live stuff. Have you seen the film "Smashing Time"? It's a swingin' sixties film, and Tomorrow appear in it as a band called The Snarks, although they don't play any songs, but just romp around.
@@sorinvinyl1523 The film is basically about a couple of girls heading to Swinging London in the 60's. It's alright for the vibe, but no real cool music to speak of. It's on YT. How about the film "What's Good For The Goose"? It's a silly film, but features the Pretty Things in their S.F.Sorrow phase, with Twink on the skins. Not on YT, but here's a link to the Pretties cameo from the film. ua-cam.com/video/bOpaC2akaAE/v-deo.html
Im so glad you were able to add that July grail to your collection ✌️ thanks very much for the cool videos Edit: accidentally stole it my a$$!😁 i think your copy of The Velvet Underground is about the coolest ive seen
In The Region Of Summer Stars - The Enid. .... Album with an animal on the front.. Oh boy "Mama Lion'.. what were they smoking when they thought that one up,... BTW check Ray's guitar headstock on Remember The Future notice anything strange?... edited to add.. Ariesta Birawa.. think i have that right . Indonesian psych.
Yup, Ray was from my hometown, I believe it's the top E and B doubled. Good luck with the Nick Drake quest. I used to have one, I was one of the 3k who bought it as a teenager in the mid 1970s. Sadly, my entire collection was stolen whilst I was at college in 1979. I restocked a couple of hundred albums when vinyl sales collapsed in the early 1990s however, by 97 prices had started to escalate. It seemed to coincide with the net becoming an everyday thing for people.
Now I know why you remind of someone, you´re an Indo Rocker! I´m from the Netherlands, there are many people there with Indonesian roots (and they played the wildest rock ´n´roll in the days of wayback, check out the Tielman Brothers)
Maybe not the best place to ask this question, but i cant stand the vinyl reddit. Isa carbon anti static brush worth it, rn im using a microfibre cloth. Thanks ❤
Wow, incredibly great contribution to Summer Vinyl Day. Thanks for showing. Best regards
Thanks for watching ✌☮
Love the Doors Records. very nice!

Thank you! I will keep looking, but I might have to buy a reissue. Kevin Ayers is great. Thanks for subscribing! ✌☮
Awesome tag response!
You always bring the heat 🔥
I saw a mono copy of Supernatural Fairytales at a record show but it was $$$$
Take care Brian ☮️

The vinyl reddit can be very frustrating. I'd say its worth it! Its nice and convenient to have a brush, but a cloth works as well.
